Aural Only: Scissor Sisters

Scissor Sisters, Jake Shears, Ana Matronic, Del Marquis, Babydaddy, music video, new single, Fire With Fire, Night Work, song, listen, watch, gay

Now that we've sufficiently gawked at half-naked pictures of Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears, it's time to check out the band's brand new single "Fire With Fire". Unlike album track "Invisible Light", it does not have a cameo from Sir Ian McKellen. And as a result, it's a little less awesome.

Which isn't to say that it's not awesome. There's definitely a more radio-friendly vibe to this. It's one of those tracks that builds as it goes along, until you're left throwing your hands in the air and dancing like a fool by the end. This isn't exactly what I'd expect from the group, but it's a welcome change from their standard sound.

  1. I like their songs “Making Ladies” and “I Dont Feel Like Dancing.”
