Aural Only: Natasha Bedingfield

We’ve had several requests to add Natasha Bedingfield‘s latest single “Touch” to the Weekly Top Ten, so we finally decided to cave in and give it a chance. And you know what? We actually liked it! In fact, we may have even liked it a lot (though that may be pushing it).

This one’s a little more electro-pop than some of Natasha’s previous singles, but it still remains true to her songwriting style and general vibe as an artist. What do you think? Does it have potential to become this year’s Song of Summer?

  1. LOVE Natasha Bedingfield, but definitely not feeling this song. I don’t like how it’s just like talking in the beginning. The chorus is great, and I can definitely seeing this as a hot remix, but as it is, song of the summer potential..I think not.

  2. I could see this becoming a great remix or a summer song, but for some reason I have a feeling “Vanity” by Christina Aquilera is going to be this summer’s song… At least on the gay club scene… It’s coming out on her new CD.

  3. I love this song, she has always been a favorite of mine, I like how she’s exploring a new direction with her music…can’t wait for the remixes.

  4. Thanks for giving this song a chance. it’s really good and it has a bit of a U2 guitar riff on it. Remixes or no, the single is great.

  5. Give Leela James’ latest single a try! “Tell Me You Love Me”…I was gonna tell you to do this song too. xD
