Kanye West's latest video "Paranoid" prominently features Rihanna, which leaves me thinking that less people are going to be talking about the song. The general consensus seems to be that she's looking absolutely incredible.
It may be premature to say this, but I think Rihanna is on her way to becoming a modern icon. Prior to the "Umbrella" era, she was hardly a household name, while these days even my grandma knows who she is.
As creepy as it is, this video wouldn't work as well without RiRi. Given how little time has passed since her encounter with Chris "The Monster" Brown, there's something particularly powerful about seeing her look so radiant and astounding. This goes out to all the haters who said her career would be over!
