Andy has been blasting Jordin Sparks‘ new single “S.O.S. (Let the Music Play)” across the office since it leaked, and it’s starting to drive me crazy! It’s not necessarily a bad song, but it just doesn’t sound right for my favorite purity ring wearing American Idol winner. Though dance music is trendy these days, Sparks needs to let the Britneys, Gagas and Rihannas deal with samples like Shannon‘s “Let the Music Play”. Some changes in sound are for the best. This isn’t one of them.

Yup, your right, only Britney, Gaga, or Rihanna could get away with something like that. Guess “Battlefield” wasn’t doing to well chart-wise, so they decided, “Hey, this is what’s hot right now, so let’s auto-tune the hell out of her, and pray!” LMFAO! Don’t like the song at all. I won’t be surprised if Lil Wayne jumps on a remix in a week or two, Bwahahaha, like they did with Keri Hilson’s struggling ass!
song isn’t terrible (just not good) but it ruined the great song of “let the music play” and whats worse is jordan can actually sing – she doesn’t need to autotune the hell out of her voice! I know she’s young but they’ve really mismarketed her trying to make her a pop star instead of an r&b singer
BOY is this proof of how sucky music has become these days. That they think it’s better to autotune someone who can actually sing into something unrecognizable is REALLY sad. (Sadder thing is that this will probably become her biggest hit.)
