Aural Only: Anoraak

For all the shit I talk about Ke$ha and Katy Perry, some folks have been curious about my actual taste in music. Lately, I haven’t been listening to much beyond Anoraak‘s debut full-length Wherever The Sun Sets. Whenever I’m having a rough day, this album has easily put a spring in my step.

For those who aren’t in the know, the French producer and DJ churns out ’80s-influenced electro tracks that are more easy-listening than David Guetta gangbanging my brain with the entire cast of Jersey Shore. It won’t necessarily be everyone’s cup of tea, but who ever said I have good taste in music?
