Aural Only: Acid House Kings

It would be easy to dismiss Acid House Kings as another run of the mill, Pitchfork-endorsed indie band. However, it should be noted that the Swedish quartet infuses their discography with a heavy dose of pop flavor, to the point that even the average Top 40 listener has to admit that these songs get your toes tapping.

As March moves forward to the highly anticipated “out like a lamb” territory, we’d recommend adding the group’s latest single “Would You Stay Stop?” to your spring soundtrack. It’s light and breezy. And it has a music video where singer Julia Lannerheim dresses up as a penguin. What more can you ask for? A free download? Oh, alright! Grab a free MP3 of the track over here.
