Aiden James: “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”

Today would have been Whitney Houston‘s 49th birthday. In honor of the legendary vocalist’s life, openly gay singer-songwriter Aiden James has released a cover of her 1987 pop hit “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)”.

Turns out, it’s Aiden’s birthday too. If you’re not too distracted by the absurdly hot cover art above, perhaps you should wish him a “happy birthday” by grabbing a download of the track on Amazon… Um, and are those your legs up there, Aiden? Because, if so, please come perform in Boston sit on my face.

  1. I was prepared for the worst but am pleasantly surprised by this. It’s actually pretty good, and it breaks the usual pattern of singers taking ballads and turning them into thumping dance anthems. Quiet and dignified- I’d buy it, regardless of the cheesy CD cover.

  2. I’d like to see a side by side picture of his and Whitney’s legs. Just to be that guy. lol
