As you may have expected, American Idol winner Kris Allen and runner-up Adam Lambert have both signed record deals with major labels. But you don't have to be in the top two to get a record deal–look at Chris Daughtry, Kellie Pickler, or Jennifer Hudson. If talent's there, somebody's going to notice… and a little somebody known as Jive Records has noticed fourth-place contestant Allison Iraheta/Princess Fiona.
But what's up with Danny Gokey? He came in third place, and we've yet to hear any announcement about getting a contract. Is it coming soon? Or do you think that labels don't see him as commercially viable?
