Rockstar Energy Drinks have issued a statement disavowing the founder's father, homophobic radio host Michael Savage, and donating $100,000 to various LGBT organizations. Now if the fact that their beverages taste like ass (in a bad way, like dirty ass) isn't enough to deter you from buying their products after this, take into consideration that Michael Savage's wife is the CFO of the company. Just sayin'. Money can't buy our love.

I’ve been actively involved in the boycott since the beginning, and honestly Rockstar’s PR department has been atrocious. Their lawyers attacked small blogs and facebook groups for supposedly libelous statements about Michael Savage.
When it comes down to it, a hundred grand and a fake apology doesn’t make up for the hate that founded and continues to run the company. Their hush money shouldn’t be enough to start us buying the drinks again.
