Turns out the Ricky Martin quote which supposedly outs him was wildly exaggerated by the magazine that got that interview. Their need for publicity made them less than honest with their headlines when they claimed he said "my heart could belong to a man or a woman."
Turns out Ricky said something along the lines of "The heart of Ricky Martin? Look, whether it has or doesn't have a male owner or a female owner, I have never spoken about that topic…" I mean, it still sounds a little gay but it's not quite the bombshell it was hyped up to be.

I hate mags that do not use exact quotes. However, Ricky’s statement — even in it’s nebulousness — still seems a confession . He just in another line of celebs who we all know is gay so does it really matter?
