A Polish politician has really jumped the shark in his dislike of gays, he is angry about his local zoo buying a gay elephant!
Michal Grzes, a councilor in the city of Poznan says, "We didn't pay 37 million zlotys ($11 million) for the largest elephant house in Europe to have a gay elephant live there."
Part of his concern is that the elephant won't be able to reproduce. The reports don't make it clear on how the politician knows the elephant is gay, but he says, "[the elephant] only liked his buddies and hit the cows with his trunk, and was
very disrespectful on the whole… We were supposed to have a herd, but as Ninio prefers male friends over females how will he produce offspring?"
However, since he is only 10-years-old he hasn't even reached sexual maturity.
