To drink the Kool-Aid or not to drink the Kool-Aid. That is the question posed by Natalia Kills new buzz track “Controversy”. Aurally, it’s quite a departure from the dark-pop star’s debut album Perfectionist, sounding more like a Peaches outtake than anything else.
While it’s certainly nice to see Ms. Kills trying something different, does anyone else get the sense that she’s trying too hard? Oh gosh! I didn’t mean for that to sound so harsh! Honestly, I’ll be reserving my judgment until the official single drops.
