Meet Andreas Derleth. He’s the stationary store manager from New Zealand who was recently crowned Mr. Gay World 2012. That’s a lot of pressure for one gay guy!
Derleth beat out the rest of his Speedo-ed competition in events like Mr. Gay Swimwear, Sports Challenge, and the Best Interview Challenge.
Our new ruler and the new pinnacle of gay achievement won $6,200 in cash and a $25,000 travel allowance that he will use to spread the message of tolerance and diversity, according to Queerty.
I definitely want to see footage of some of the Interview Challenges from the bitches who lost. I know there’s one twink that gave the male version of this answer.

damn, I would not want to be a judge at that contest
Hot dude…..congrats to him!!
HOT HOT HOT! WOw what an amazing body and face. I would love to get my hands on that!
and packin heat!!!!!
Schoolmarm says: Most stores are stationary, except those found on ocean liners. Try ‘stationery.’
nice body… otherwise face is rather ordinary…very scandinavian!
how superficial and shallow gay men are… not everyone spends their life in a gym. I swear half of gay men are narrcisists. sad.
“spread the message of tolerance and diversity” haha. That is meant to be sarcastic, right? Nothing like stripping down and oiling up to spread the messages of diversity and tolerance. Also, promoting the message of ‘tolerance’ is an issue! I tolerate cold pizza and red lights; I accept people that are different than me. Acceptance is what the fight should be for!
absolutely agree. This guy is a sad role model. I be interested where he plans on spreading his “message”…dancing half naked in a gay bar??? Thats something to be proud of!!! what a joke!
Wait, so just because he looks good in a speedo, he’s a sad role model…?
Face is ordinary?? It’s his best feature! Square jaw, deep-set eyes, cheek-bones.
i would love to judge them.
not really, but just because he looks in a speedo does not make him a great role model either… it would be nice if the winner was more accomplished in their real lives, day job, etc… but of course those people might be too busy to compete for this…
I see a whole lot of white skin, they could have at least done a spray tan!
I do think he’s outside the regular stereotype; he’s bald…
I think I know now how most women feel watching the Miss America pageant. brb while I cry into my Ben and Jerry’s.
gin kill’s the pain better…
Also wins most packed speedo.
Mr. Gay WORLD 2012? I hate to be negative, but none of those guys look like someone who (in my opinion only) should represent Mr. Gay World! I’ve seen many guys on the street who look a lOT better than these guys. I’m definitely not into myself, but I do know a good looking and built guy when I see one. Maybe I just don’t know all the requirements for being a contestant for Mr.Gay World? What about all those beautiful, built guys featured regularly on MH?
Is it hard to pack a speedo? no.
I 100% agree with you! Where are some of the guys featured on here?? I pass guys that look like that everyday going to work. Just sayin’
Yep, he and his fellow contestants are fucking gorgeous!!
notice how everybody is a gym rat?? This guy does not represent me in any way shape or form. Our community is so diversified in age, shape, talent etc and the ciontestants average age is mid 20’s?
What a shallow contest.
Diversity is UNRELATED to ATTRACTIVENESS. Being fit toned and muscled, having good facial bone structure are the aspects which DEFINE attractiveness.
I dont care how nice you might be, if youre a skinny little bitch or a fat cunt you are NOT attractive, sorry!
so being attractive means you should represent the gay community? SERIOUSLY?? I am going back to being straight!
So being attractive means you SHOULDN’T represent the gay community?
Dude is hot and sexy. Good on him. I’m sure that he is not only fit but intelligent too since this wasn’t a beauty competition.
It’s so sad that guys on here have to try and tear him down based upon just looking at the pictures you’ve posted. Talk about judging a book by it’s (very sexy) cover. Why can’t we just celebrate each other and encourage ourselves to focus on the good things we see rather than trying to make ourselves look better BY MAKING ANOTHER LOOK WORSE. (That will never really work.)
Seeing as you missed the point – YES!
