Lady Gaga’s New Video Is Predictably Awesome

Lady Gaga, Bad Romance, music video, fashion, new single, Fame: The Monster, pop, dance, bath haus, Haus of Gaga, bathhouse, polar bear, fire, bath tub, robot tits

Quite recently, I was accused of bashing Britney Spears and making too many Lady Gaga fan posts. And if you've already seen the "Bad Romance" video, you can probably understand my reasoning. Even though I'd argue that I've been pretty generous with Brit lately, just let it be known–"3" is nothing compared to this.

Hands down, this is one of the best things Lady Gaga has ever done. All my skepticism (regarding her artistic integrity) has been completely thrown out the window. I hate to admit it, but I think I'm now one-hundred percent Team Gaga. Yeah, I said it.

  1. wow, the video is awesome.
i’d say one of best videos of the past few years.
though i still don’t really like the song, especially the ‘ra-ra’ part.
gaga got a nice body, but gosh i can’t see her going far with that face. it’s like a blond version of amy winehouse. hello kitty!
video is cool though, bit too much with the red dress at the end. sort of a 21st century version of ‘if i could turn back time’. lol.

  2. Nex: “gaga got a nice body, but gosh i can’t see her going far with that face”
What a spectacularly unintelligent comment to make. She’s relying on her music to go far, not just her sexual appeal, which she has anyway. Perhaps you could enlighten us as to exactly what is wrong with “that face”?

  3. awesome video and she’s getting more artistic and weird. also a few hot guys there, too bad they don’t have too much screen time. Way to go GAGA!

  4. Re cloudywolf: image and appearance is all part of the pop culture. this wasn’t an unintelligent comment. we are not talking about jazz or heavy rock here, where the looks don’t play a role. it’s pop and it really matters how you look to be a superstar (in vast majority cases). to become a diva she’d need something more that that ironed face.
notice how producers/video editors try to hide her face from shots. either by covering it with weird masks or showing it from angle or from afar. or with those weird huge eyes, or sunglasses just not to show her normal looks. look at her album cover at least.
don’t try to teach me, gaga boy. i know my stuff.

  5. LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the video and LOOOOOOOOOVE her! I didn’t warm up to her for a bit but her talent is undeniable!!! Can’t wait to see what this one comes up with!

  6. I love how she is bringing latex to the mainstream and showing how artistic it is. also he shoes are amazing and the bear dress what stunning. I love her! She should be a model for john galliano shows…she would be amazng

  7. … omg.. a Wii nunchuck @2:44 lol.. and the red costume kinda looks like the one from the movie 5th element… wow.. just wow…

  8. Nex: I understand how important looks are in the industry, but one thing. You said that you “can’t see her going far with that face”, but I can’t help but wonder… how much “far[ther]” can she go? The entire world knows who she is. Her concerts are sold out. I dunno. It seems like she’s made it pretty damn far.

  9. wedding dress taxidermy = brilliance
okay, fine, atleast for a few seconds it seems like this totally amazing idea… >.>
    lol at wii nunchucks.
psh, once you’ve seen blindfolded dancing by quest crew on abdc, it’s hard to enjoy any other kind which isn’t nearlya s up to par.
i’m probably gonna say the best thing she did with this vid… is… less makeup… she’s still pretty hot without it 😛
