I Can Now Die Happy: Tom Hardy To Play Gay Rugby Star

Ok, it’s a “might”. Tom Hardy might play Gareth Thomas in a bio-pic! TOM HARDY MIGHT PLAY OPENLY GAY EX-PRO RUGBY PLAYER GARETH EDWARDS IN A BIO-PIC. Tom Hardy is SEXY and rugby is SEXY.

Well, he’s certainly had the practice and I’m not talking about rugby.

Here’s some reasons why this could be THE BEST FILM EVER MADE:

1) Gay rugby player love scenes.

2) Locker room scenes

3) Tom Hardy in short shorts, and getting felt up in scrums

4)  Tom Hardy’s pillowy DSLs moving while he’s talking about how he likes dudes.

5) Did I mention the shorts?

Oh, I’m being so shallow. So MANHUNT-Y! It’s  sure to be stirring bio-pic about one of the first professional athletes to come out of the closet WHILE he was still playing, and will surely inspire some other pro to find the strength within and just say it and get on with playing.

Something else we should be thankful for. Mickey Rourke pulled out of the part. He’s a great actor but I don’t need to see Mickey fucking a dude.

  1. I guess they have to cast someone a few years younger than Thomas, like Tom Hardy,  for the movie to work, but I think Jason Statham would have been a much better match.  Yes, I know Statham is a few years older than Gareth Thomas, but hell, if they even for a second considered casting Mickey Rourke, Statham certainly would not be too old.

  2. THANK JESUS!!! Mickey Rourke  will not play that role!!! That is one horrible, nasty disaster avoided!! Thank god Tom Hardy is in!!
