The first transgender mayor in America, Stu Rasmussen, may be getting his own reality show in the near future. Rasmussen was elected this past November as the Mayor of Silverton, Oregon and is widely recognized as the first transgender mayor elected in the United States.
After receiving a lot of publicity following his election, Stu is now shopping a reality show to various networks. Camera crews have already filmed a pilot.
Rasmussen is claiming the show isn't a venue for his own personal fame, but for the city of Silverton, "I have a big ego, but not big enough to think this is going to be
Stu-centric, I think it's going to be Silverton-centric
because there are enough other interesting things going on in this
community. I will be a recurring character but not the central theme."
I think if done properly, unlike most reality shows, it could make for interesting television. What do others think?

But how many women are named Stu?
