Dumb Bitch Of The Day: Georgia GOP Chairdullard Sue Everhart

All together now – “this bitch.” Sue Everhart, the chairhag of Georgia’s Republican Party, is against gay marriage. Why? Because it encourages straight people to try and get fake-married to obtain benefits. *side-eye* What? Someone saw this shitty movie and took it a little too seriously.

Here’s what she told the Marietta Journal:

“You may be as straight as an arrow, and you may have a friend that is as straight as an arrow,” she told the Journal. “Say you had a great job with the government where you had this wonderful health plan. I mean, what would prohibit you from saying that you’re gay, and y’all get married and still live as separate, but you get all the benefits? I just see so much abuse in this it’s unreal. I believe a husband and a wife should be a man and a woman, the benefits should be for a man and a woman. There is no way that this is about equality. To me, it’s all about a free ride.”

Honestly, I think the argument that same-sex marriage would lead to people marrying their dogs had more merit. Is she not worried that hetero couples might attempt that? No, because she’s a bigot and what’s actually on her mind is how two men fuck:

“If it was natural, they would have the equipment to have a sexual relationship.”

Trust us. We have the equipment, Suzie. It’s all very natural. And you know when she thinks about it, she gets wet in the panty area. Most of the people so obsessed with how we fuck are the ones who the most intrigued by it.

It’s irritating and sad that people are striving for any excuse to prevent social change and deny people their equal rights. I wish I could get married again so I could NOT invite her. I’d send her an anti-invite. And I would include a diagram depicting how men have anal sex.

  1. Uh…what?
Bitch doesn’t notice that I could do this with any girl friends marry them for their benefits, live at my house, and have a sexless marriage just like two straight guys could (though even as two straight guys brojobs might go on (and I know mentioning a brojob may invalidate my point, though it came to mind))

  2. Stupid woman! Does she not think that straight people could do this as well? Also how many illegal aliens marry US citizens so they can get their green card? Anti-gay individuals and groups will pull any excuse they can out of there ass to prevent equal rights. Bottom line is they think it’s wrong because God says so or they just have a personal dislike of homosexuality. A country shouldn’t be ruled by religious laws or by people’s personal opinions. The majority of the US population is pro gay marriage but does the government care what the people want? No.

  3. Is Paula Deen homophobic, or are you just criticizing her for being so stereotypically Southern?

I absolutely adore Paula Deen and would be seriously disappointed to learn that she harbors such prejudices.

  4. Georgia, you’re letting Florida rub off on you.

Lots of straight people live separate lives in separate homes, but remain married because of tax reasons and for estate reasons. They’re able to do it very openly, without any risk of having their benefits taken away. It just underscores the inequity between married people, and those who aren’t. Not only for gay people, but for straight (particularly the elderly) people who have no intention of getting married or re-married. So I’m not sure what her point is. If this type of abuse is an issue for her, it has nothing to do with the discussion about gay marriage.

And as for the “free ride…” What does that mean? That people who pay taxes, build a home, invest and support a socioeconomic system shouldn’t receive the benefits that they’re entitled to like the majority of the scam and/or failed straight marriages receive? Just to be clear, gay DINK households pay greater than their fare share of taxes to support programs they don’t use. Because most gay men and women don’t have children, we pay an inordinate amount of taxes to support those who do receive a variety of benefits on both local and federal levels. Not that I mind, it’s just a point about the “free ride” comment. The way I see it, it’s simple math. It’s not us gays who are benefitting from a free ride.

Surrounded by poorly thought-out and incoherent babble, the basis of her arguement is this…”I believe a husband and a wife should be a man and a woman, the benefits should be for a man and a woman.” Just to be clear, Ms. Everhart, “husband and wife” will always remain between a man and a woman. Gay men aren’t generally called “wives.” and lesbian women aren’t called “husbands.” We know what you mean Ms. Everhart. But you can’t seem to form a proper sentence to hide your bigotry.

Could this woman be any more dumb? In a nutshell, we pay for these benefits. Call your straight union “marriage” or whatever you want to call it. I’m not going to get hung up on semantics. But we will receive the benefits that we pay (overpay) for.

Frankly, it’s really not open for discussion anymore.

  5. Are republican politicians born stupid or do they undergo lobotomies as part of their initiation into the republican party.
