Day Without a Gay

Day Without a Gay

In an intriguing move to help keep Gay Rights in the news, December 10 has been designated as "Day Without a Gay." You are encouraged not to call out sick from work, but call out "gay" and then spend the day volunteering as well as not dropping any cash, at least not at straight-owned establishments.

This is supposed to highlight how integral we are to society, and make people realize that since they can't live without us, they should let us marry.

Sounds a lot like "Day Without Immigrants" back in May. I think it was a creative gesture, but I don't think it really changed the immigration debate.

I doubt I'll be participating. Can you imagine? If everyone at MANHUNT called out gay, no one of you would get any a**!
