For someone who spent the majority of summer 2008 ranting about Katy Perry‘s awful single “I Kissed A Girl”, it feels extremely dirty to admit that her new song “California Gurls” may be this season’s hottest jam. You don’t have to be a resident of the Golden State to get down to this. It’s just pure pop gold.
And did I mention that there’s a cameo from Snoop Dogg? This bitch clearly knows the way to my heart! If anything makes up for annoying faux-bisexual anthems, it’s motherfucking Snoop Dogg. Be right back. I have to go jizz all over myself and then hit the replay button…

I LOVE Lady GaGa @Alex but Alejandro is my least favorite track off of The Fame Monster and if that’s what I’m going to be stuck listening to all Summer she is not going to be the one owning it. She better throw something else out there if she wants to stay on top.
This song is okay, but it does sound like a rip-off of Ke$ha. I’m hoping this will be the “I Kissed A Girl” of her new album; Catchy but not a great song overall.
