Aural Fixation: It’s A Diva Battle, Y’all!

If hipster dude blowjobs and Marc Dylan‘s ass weren’t enough to make you care, how can we possibly catch your interest with our new Aural Fixation series? It all comes down to one word—DIVAS. The majority of the artists on today’s poll (and we use the word “artist” lightly) are stereotypically associated with gay culture. Most of them, if not all, topped our sorely missed Weekly Top Ten countdown at some point or another (and we use the phrase “sorely missed” lightly as well, since nobody ever read those posts).

So without further ado, we present today’s contestants—Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Kelly Rowland, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Beyoncé and Florence + The Machine. Click through to take a listen to these seven selections, and then decide which would sound best cumming coming through your speakers during a passionate fuck session.

RIHANNA – WE FOUND LOVE: When she’s not busy making us question our sexuality, Rihanna has a tendency to churn out some pretty addictive dance floor gems. Her latest is a collaboration with Calvin Harris that seems like it was tailor-made for the gay club scene. You know, the type of gay club scene where people actually dance! Not the one where we sip whiskey alone in a corner and awkwardly eye-fuck the bartender.

LADY GAGA – MARRY THE NIGHT: We know, we know! The little monsters are all going to scream, “This isn’t fair! The video’s not out yet!” That said, we’d argue that Gaga’s enough of a name within the gay community to hold her own in this round. Feel free to prove us wrong.

KELLY ROWLAND – LAY IT ON ME: The winner of Aural Fixation‘s first round returns, in an attempt to dominate the competition all over again. Ever since 2009’s summer smash “When Love Takes Over”, the other child of destiny has been a favorite with the Manhunt Daily audience. However, she wasn’t able to catch the same level of supports for her later singles, with the exception of the immediate follow-up “Commander”. Can she win you back? Or did she never lose you in the first place? Also, why aren’t you having an orgy with all of the half-naked guys in this video? The world may never know.

BRITNEY SPEARS – CRIMINAL: Britney Spears fans are crazy. And we mean that in the best way possible. If there’s any chance the stans find out about this, the other contestants in today’s round won’t stand a chance. Remember the unstoppable reign of “Til The World Ends”?

KATY PERRY – THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY: Again, this one doesn’t have a music video yet, but that’s all pretty irrelevant since it’s Katy fucking Perry. You love her no matter how much we say she sucks, and we secretly love her too when you put enough alcohol in our bodies. But, um, would it really be sexy to fuck to a song about the one that got away…?

___________________________________________________________

FLORENCE + THE MACHINE – SHAKE IT OUT: To be perfectly honest, this was a last minute addition on our end. We think Florence Welch has earned the right to be called a diva, even if she hasn’t racked up as many hits as her fellow competitors. I mean, come on! That voice.

BEYONCÉ F/ J. COLE – PARTY: We’d bang to this if J. Cole’s verse didn’t kill our boners. Seriously, B? Why would you replace Andre 3000, one of the greatest rappers alive, with a lazy verse from some man of the moment? Lame sauce.

  1. It’s Rihanna all the way, baby. That song is pure dance stuff. And it’s giving more exposure to Calvin Harris in North America. Well deserved.

  2. Wow, that Rihanna video is fucked up.

Also, all those dudes who claim they aren’t into black guys need to watch Kelly Rowland’s video.  If those models/dancers don’t change your mind, there is something wrong with your penis.

  3. if we’re talking about a song to put on whilst we get it on, then it’s definitely beyonce for me. now, if we’re talking about something to dance to before i try to take you home, i’m going with rihanna.

  4. Agree about the Rihanna vid.  Kinda weird too that the dude has the Chris Brown bleached blond hair too.

  5. Love Brit’s video!  Her real-life boyfriend/manager looks a lot hotter than any other pix of him I ever saw of him.

  6. I have to agree on the Florence Welch  she might not have so many hits but her voice is awesome and for me a DIVA dont need the sales just need the voice cause lady gaga for me is not a DIVA for me her music is just good to dance but her voice is quite ordinary

  7. Lady Gaga all the way! That song is perfection. I love you riri and kelly’s video is hawt. Buh I gotta go with Momma monster #ItsAMonsterThing

  8. I LIVE for the Rihanna video.  I love all the passion and intesity.  But, when the mood strikes I would rather be listening to the “Lay It On Me” by Kelly or “Party” by Beyonce.

  9. Have you seen the video for the new Sara Bareilles video yet? I thought that was hilarious….not sure if it’s a song to bone to, buuut yea…just thought I’d throw it out there. xD

  10. RiRi all tha way 4 me, I fuck, wash drive, eat & breathe this track…definitely a fav of mine 4sho!!!

  11. The reason that Kelly Rowland hasn’t been doing that well in gay clubs and this site in the US is because you’re focusing on her US releases, not her European ones.  Her US releases are targeted to a US crowd more interested in R&B and hip hop.  And while some gay kids like that, that’s luckily not what does that best in most gay clubs.  In Europe, the record labels are releasing complketely different albums and singles, like “What a Feeling”, which was HUGE in gay clubs in Europe.  In fact, I heard it FOUR times in one night in London back in July.

On another note, if you like Katy Perry’s One that Got Away, check out the 7th Heaven mix, which is pure pop/dance greatness!

And Cahill’s mix of Rihanna and Calvin Harris’  already catchy (if repetitive) We Found Love is even more fun and addicting than the original.
