7Qs with David Benjamin

The super sexy and confident David Benjamin talks about insecurity, space travel, and his next steps in adult entertainment.

Our second in the 7Questions series is a favorite performer of mine.  David Benjamin has had a busy and productive career packed into a pretty small amount of time with a singularly upward trajectory. He’s also been able to throw himself into scenework with a fervor that few of his peers can or seem to want to match (seriously – watch him bottom for Boomer Banks’ anaconda here and tell me that guy isn’t a fucking trooper).  Add to that the fact that he’s just plain charming in person, too, and you’ve got basically the total package.

I got to ask him some questions about life and whatever in addition to his 7Q answers, and you’ll be surprised to hear what he has to say.

1. Where do you live most of the time, and where would you live if money/commute were no object (your favorite place to just be)?

For the last 16 years I’ve called Washington, DC home; but if I could live anywhere, it would be Palm Springs. I love the warm weather, easy access to the outdoors, and relaxed culture.

2. If you could control where people ‘knew you from,’ how would you describe it? Something maybe you’re most proud of.

I am not sure I’ve ever felt the need to control where people ‘know me from’ but, if I did, I wish most people would have known me from today. I’m proud of the man I have become and what I represent in the world.

3. Tell me something you think people might be surprised to learn about David Benjamin.

Most people would be surprised to learn how deeply insecure I am. I’m very good at performing the role of a self-assured man, full of bravado, but the truth is I’m very susceptible to the judgments of others, and question myself all of the time.

4. You’ve got something exciting coming up this month, right? Tell me about that.

I’m thrilled to announce to Manhunt Daily that, after working exclusively with Falcon Studios for the last year, I have joined TitanMen as their newest exclusive model. 1. What is your favorite word? Your least favorite?

Favorite: We
Least Favorite: Me

2. What turns you on, physically, creatively or emotionally?

Physically: I’ve met too many pretty people who are ugly on the inside to be impressed by physical beauty.

Creativity: I am very turned on by both patterns and by things that I know nothing about…So, for example, if you were to explain to me how 14th century Irish folk literature informed the Space Race, I’d love you forever 😉

Emotionally: Kindness, constancy, serenity, joyfulness, and experience are all huge turn-ons.

3. What turns you off?

Meanness

4. What’s your long-term plan? In ten years? In 2015.

I’m not sure if I have a “long-term plan” but I can say is that I am very curious about the world: art, design, fitness, sexuality, writing, and spirituality. I hope my path takes me in a direction where I get to work in one or more of these areas.

5. What profession, other than your own, would you love to try?

Astronaut. They are the only true explorers left in the world.

6. When you’re home alone, and masturbating without an audience or partner, what’s your guilty secret porn?

I prefer porn featuring men (as opposed to boys) who are hairy, muscular, and masculine. I also prefer gangbangs or groups, as opposed to one-on-one.

7. How do you handle all the negativity that comes the way of adult performers? Any advice on that for others?

I remember something someone once told me: “what other people think of you is none of your business.”

There are some who think I walk on water, and others who think I’m vile. The truth is that I’m neither. I’m just a guy who is, hopefully, trying to do the best for himself and his family.

So, my advice to adult performers is: Collect advice from the people you love. Listen to your own conscience. Don’t fear or resent the opinions of others, and, if you do, pray for them to find the same happiness and fulfillment in life that you enjoy.
