This post basically wrote itself. Here’s the official trailer for Magic Mike, the Channing Tatum stripper movie starring Tatum himself, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and some other attractive people I’m probably forgetting to mention.
It’s unclear why they even bothered to edit a trailer, because a GIF of these dudes shaking their asses in g-strings would have sold just as many tickets to the target demographic.

He actually comes off as quite charming. Though she’s a little too real….something is off about the trailer. It might be that Alcide from True Blood isn’t in it.
Sorry, he’s great eye candy and genuinely seems like a nice, grounded guy in interviews, but he CAN’T ACT.
He was in it, J. Harvey. He was the one on stage lifting the woman upside down. Sounded like he hurt his back lifting her (see the screen cap under the headline above…that’s him and he looks like he’s in pain).
To amend what J. Harvey said, there isn’t ENOUGH of Alcide from True Blood (particularly in the sense that he isn’t thrusting his package in our face for the duration of the whole trailer).
Wasn’t he a stripper in real life before he got into acting?
Well there’s never enough of him. And that’s a shame.
