Kelly Clarkson: “Dark Side”

Kelly Clarkson has officially confirmed “Dark Side” as the third single from her most recent album Stronger. This may excite some of you! The rest of you might not care at all. Either way, we thought we’d pass this information on to you, so you can readjust your “Hot Sweaty Man Orgy” playlist to keep up with the times.

Just kidding! This song would be terrible for an orgy. But, uh, what do you think of it?

  1. I love it.  While I do love all of her stuff this one resonates the most because it is so true. No one is perfect, everyone has imperfections of some kind and no matter what they are, they deserve to be loved!

Thank you Kelly for a song with a great message. Signed, NavyDavey

  2. I don’t often like dance track ballads like this.  Either make the song slow and wistful or make it into an upbeat dance track.  It’s like the restrained verses came from one song and the huge chorus came from another and they mashed them together.

I’m a big Kelly fan but not digging this song.  Sorry babe.

  3. I feel the same way.    As soon as the chorus kicks in, you know it’s going to be remixed to death as some springtime anthem for the clubs.    I love her voice, but I find her best work to be the straight forward rock style songs (Since You’ve Been Gone).

  4. I like it! It’s pretty cool. It has some kind of deep meaning for everyone. A lot of people need a reality check cause they seem as though there perfect and don’t want anyone in there life. But reality is they need a someone not like them.

  5. She’s a big Ron Paul supporter and remains one as far as I know, even though she was criticized heavily for supporting such an anti-gay candidate.

  6. The music does not mesh well with the lyrics. It’s Kid Bop material. And hello, she just climbed on the bandwagon of all the other “be yourself and be proud” songs that other women in music have already gone and done – over a year ago. Bit late, Kelly.

  7. I like it a lot and actually can’t wait to hear the dance remixes, because this track will lend itself to some pounding, incessant beats.  Glad to see Kelley sounding great and looking great again.

  8. Well, by that token, you can say the same thing about Rick “I-want-all-fags-to-die” Santorum.  You can’t let someone off the hook that easy by compartmentalizing their beliefs.  (Switcheroo)

  9. This girl has got some pipes. I’m a big fan of hers. The song though is not one of my favorites.

  10. True, but you don’t have to subscribe to EVERY single belief someone else holds in order to support them. I vigorously support Obama, but that doesn’t mean I share all of his views. I certainly disagree with some.

  11. Kelly Clarkson could sing the alphabet and it wouldnt matter, she has a monumental voice
