Exclusive Interview With Big Dipper

We interrupt your regularly scheduled Woof Alert for an exclusive interview with your new favorite rapper (even if you don’t know it yet). Big Dipper is a Chicago-based emcee whose debut single “Drip Drop” has now racked up over 60,000 YouTube views.

Considering how much his dick needs to be inside of us, we thought we’d hit him up for an interview before he got too famous for Manhunt Daily. We chatted about everything from Nicki Minaj comparisons (he’s a huge fan) to eating ass (he’s also a huge fan). It was fucking awesome, and our buttholes are still tingling from our e-mail exchange.

Oh, and did we mention that he took some “for your eyes only” pics with his laptop’s cam? It’s like we’re chatting with him on Manhunt Chat, aside from the whole “he still has his pants on” thing. On that note, we did ask him to send naughtier pictures, but he was too much of a classy ho to thrust his hairy crack in our faces… Maybe next time?

The number one “most liked” comment on the video for “Drip Drop” pegs you as: “if nicki minaj and zach galifianakis had a baby together”. How do you feel about that description?

It’s totally accurate. I have the best parents in the world.

Other than Nicki, what other hip-hop artists or musicians were you influenced by? There seems to be a touch of the late ’80s and early ’90s in portions of your aesthetic…

When I was a kid, I listened to Too Short, The Fugees, Busta Rhymes. When Kanye came on the scene, it was over. He’s the ultimate. I love his beats and his lyrics are smart and they hit hard. Truth be told, I’m a total sucker for pop music too.

Let’s talk dream collaborations. (Yes, that’s my whole question.)

Nicki Minaj. (yes that’s my whole answer)

No, I mean, there are so many artists out there that I admire and love. I’m really into Azealia Banks and Die Antwoord right now, and I love Cazwell. I love collaborating, and I think it’d be dope to make music with other artists. I would just be happy to be considered.

Speaking of which, if you asked most people to name an openly gay rapper, their first response (for better or worse) would likely be Cazwell. What are your thoughts on that? Do you think there’s room for that to change?

There’s definitely room. I’m a huge fan of Cazwell. But there are a lot of other homo emcees out there. He’s grinding hard and making money, and I admire that a lot about him. I think as long as people are interested in the music you’re making, there is room for everyone.

It would be awesome to get a bunch of us gay rappers together on song, or go on a huge tour. Gay powers combined.

Confession: I popped a boner watching one of your live performances, in which you remixed Keri Hilson’s “Pretty Boy Rock”. Have people ever told you that there’s something aggressively erotic about the way you rap?

Hahaha. No. People tell me I’m energetic and wild and crazy, but never ‘aggressively erotic’. That’s nice.

Are you always so energetic and animated, or does that have more to do with the adrenaline rush of performing?

I’ve got a pretty big personality in general. It’s definitely amplified when I perform. Bottom line, I’m always trying to have the best time, no matter what I’m doing.

Okay, you knew I had to go here. Between the bulge in your singlet and that booty-drop in the video for “Drip Drop” (4:58-4:59), I’m conflicted about what I’d want to do with you (as if I’d ever have a chance). Now, I’ve studied the lyrics and footage carefully, and I’ve determined that you’re probably a versatile top. Is this correct or incorrect? The people must know so they can fantasize appropriately!

Yeah, I like it all. I’m versatile in every sense of the word.

What is your perception of masculinity, especially in relation to the bear/cub community? The gay community as a whole?

Masculinity is a fantasy that we all enjoy. Gay men are attracted to it and boast that they embody it, but masculinity and femininity are fluid. Gender and sexuality both exist on a spectrum, and we all fall somewhere in there. My music makes me feel powerful and nasty, but that’s only one side of me.

Don’t get me wrong. I love a man who plays that masculine part and will throw me around and give me the business.

Rimjobs. Yes or no?

DUH.

You like how I slipped that question in, right?

What, did you try to slip something in?

Oh, you! Let’s get back to talking about your music. Can you share a sample lyric from your upcoming single “Meat Quotient”?

Your butt is farm fresh.
Your butt is what I’m after.
Treat your butt like bovine, and I’ll fuck you in a pasture.

So far, how have people responded to “Meat Quotient”? Are there plans for another music video? Will you be naked eating meat in it? ::fingers crossed::

I just performed MEAT QUOTIENT for the first time last week. People loved it. The track is way dirtier than DRIP DROP and even more graphic. Someone came up to me after and said I was their new favorite poet. That shit cracked me up. This song is grimy, and I love it.

We are going to make a video. Big plans for that this spring. Meat eating and skin showing for sure.

You’ve received love from Jonny McGovern, DiDa Ritz, countless bloggers and so forth. What’s the best compliment you’ve received so far?

Yes! I love the internet. Twitter is crazy. DiDa Ritz is my girl from Chicago.

I’ve had a few people propose to me on facebook…

But I have to say, that craziest thing was the headline on Vulture: “Meet Big Dipper, the Gay, Hairy, Male Nicki Minaj”. That shit stopped me dead in my tracks. I mean a Nicki comparison? Shut the fuck up.

[EDITOR’S NOTE: Eliot learned about Big Dipper from us, so this is technically him telling us to shut the fuck up too!]

If you woke up tomorrow and Gwyneth Paltrow tweeted about you, how would you react?

I’d GOOP myself.

Last but not least, can I sit on your face?

DUH.

Wait, don’t leave! I was just kidding about that being the last question! Instead, tell us what we should expect to see next from Big Dipper. You’ll have an EP (hopefully) out by the summer, right?

I’m working hard to keep up content on my YouTube page. There will be some more videos, live footage from shows I’m playing in Chicago (Berlin Nightclub on March 1st). More music in the spring and summer. And new music and music videos.

And yes, I’m planning an EP for the summer.

  1. Was ready not to like this, but y’know what? Pretty damn fun.  Doesn’t take himself seriously for a minute – if he had, it would’ve caved like a straight guy with a tongue up his butt.
All you Haters may now proceed.

  2. This is the greatest thing I have ever seen. I want to put my face in his ass for an extended period of time.

  3. This is so amazing. The fact that ManHuntDaily brought me this, makes me eternally grateful. And I’m so glad I found this stoned. Best thing ever.

  4. Also. He’s pretty hot. I’d totally date him. Like… I’d totally try to get to know him and everything. Haha.
