Ten seconds after completing my interview with Jaxton Wheeler, I started kicking myself for not asking certain questions. The beefy, 26 year-old bisexual porn star has been on a winning streak in his latest string of scenes for The Guy Site and MEN.COM, and if there were a contest for being an honest, open book in interviews, he’d be on a winning streak there, too.
In less than three questions, he opened up to me about his struggles with steroid abuse, and his frankness only continued from there. We discussed what bisexuality means to him, performers he did (and didn’t) enjoy working with, and even touched upon his early bareback work with Chaos Men.

After a brief hiatus, what brought you back to porn?
Good question. The industry was changing fast. MEN.COM actually came out with those free to view sites. I had just started working with Randy Blue, and Randy had just started getting into web cam. I’m not one to sit on a web cam all day, and they began only wanting to shoot models that cammed. So, I didn’t really go on hiatus by choice. I just didn’t have any quality offers.
I went through a year period off steroids, as well—I was off in my latest shoots with MEN.COM—so I was trying to reinvent my look a little.
Oh, how so?
I grew a point on my beard, stayed fully hairy, and as much as I love ice cream, cut down on sugar so I could lean and harden up. The beard is half appearance alteration, half done for social acceptance within the music community here in Las Vegas. You need to be a character.
Let me rewind for a second to the “steroids” aspect. It seems more and more performers are being open about their struggles with steroids. Are they more common in the industry than most people think?
Let me put it this way. If you see anyone in this industry with muscle, or their shoulders look like boulders… They are on juice. It helps with performance as well. I just got back on almost a month ago, but I do very little at a time. I’m just trying to slim down and cut up as to sharpen my image, but the better you get yourself to look, the more pressure to maintain that look. Being in the public eye when you’re baring all is a lot of pressure.

Thank you. I come from a much different background than most of these guys. I’ve been an extreme athlete since I was 12. I fell into this because of a stint I had doing bodybuilding, and I used to post posing videos when I was all natural. I’ve known since I was 20 the gay community loved me.
Let’s build upon that. You “came out” as bisexual on Twitter not too long ago. Did you come to that realization before entering the industry or while immersed in it?
I’d say while immersed, and it’s still something that isn’t the norm either. Though I can only date women, and they are my personal preference for regular sexual encounters, I have no problem being naked around another man and interacting with them in such a way that is sexual.

I know there are probably a lot of things said about me behind closed doors that I’ll never find out about, but I guess one of the things that put me on hiatus was the lack of anyone taking me seriously enough to want to sign me and make me a regular thing.
I hear that. So do you actually have solid plans to launch your own site and do it for yourself?
Yes, I’m in talk with some developers in San Francisco. Looking at a late March, early April launch. If you want to put the word out, I’m open-eared to investors and potential models that are interested in working with me.
Well, I can certainly help with one of those. What qualities are you looking for in models?
People that at least look healthy. You don’t need to be shredded or ultra thin. Black, White, Hispanic, Asian. Race doesn’t matter.

So there are two worlds I live in, one the porn world which I leave Jaxton open for criticism and then the real world, where other ventures have to be pursued, because porn stars aren’t forever. Going from the bottom of the comments up to the top I’ll reply to some comments. First off the interview was done via Facebook chat, and anyone that knows me knows I’m just honest and if anything very humble. I found it odd that someone who is appealing to a gay male audience would make the statements he has made here. While I do not personal know Jaxton Wheeler, I can’t make any statements about him as a person. After reading further, the implication here is that men are only sexually acceptable as paying clients. Although Wheeler states that he is “bisexual.” what he has described is a strictly “gay for pay” situation with men.
What goes further is that there seems to be a feeling that Wheeler finds gay male sexuality offensive. The manner and way he expressed himself gives the impression that he might be insulted if a gay man in a gay bar approached him.
Even if you are “gay for pay,” to come out and say as much is really bad for business. Men pay to have sex with Wheeler because of an image. He is a fantasy. To say you are only in it for the money, and to make statements that are tainted with a negative attitude toward gay sex is rather, to a large extent destroys that image.
Certainly there are gay men who may enjoy a porn actor who is “straight,” but to add that it is strictly business ruins the illusion.

Today for example there was something online about 2 Jamaican girls who were called the n word over and over in their class because they told the teacher that calling them African American offended them simply because they were Jamaican.
The teacher then said that the politically correct term for them was the n word she then went on and on throughout the entire class referring too them as slaves ,the n word and made some classmates cry in the process she hurt a lot of people with her comments.
The fact that so many especially within the LGBT community think they are so entitled and special that they can insult offend and be cruel too anyone they wish too and then excuse it as something that’s politically correct or people need too grow a thicker skin and deal with the verbal abuse is flat out pathetic.
Here we are in 2014 and there are gay men still murdered for their sexuality still bashed mocked ridiculed ( like you did with the mens voice comment for example) and discriminated against. Here we are in 2014 where people who are transgender which you obviously do not understand nor have the dignity too educate yourself in that regard for that matter are still being murdered and taking their own lives because people are unwilling too show them dignity compassion and support as human beings.

I try to see past sexuality and enjoy others company. On a side note I have someone in faithful to so yes if the intent is to get me into bed currently there is only one way to do so.
Hey Michael, while your heart felt response to the rouse of an interview is very understanding and perhaps appropriate. I’ll admit I went into the interview with a sense of satire about my responses. If the interview was our had been meant to address issues on a more serious note, my answers would of been heart felt, and more in depth.
On the same token just by reading an interview and assuming some of the things you did assume about me also contributes to stereotypes and tension between the gay and straight communities.
I’ve always since I wad a kid supported equal rights for everyone, and I’ve always stated I don’t like separating people and groups by sexuality or by gender preference. I’ve net nice people and over met assholes from both sides. I’ve seen bullying on both sides within reach community and onto one another.
I never in my life have discriminated or have shunned anyone for their sexual preference. Some of my best friends have been gay. Someone’s I maybe a little biased if I’m in private and I’m approached repeatedly by a group of guys. Then on the same token I can Reigate to how some females feel. Men can be just straight dogs and the inky reason they are speaking with you as we’ve all pulled this is to eventually sleep with you or in the back of their head they think they can convert you or whatever term you want to use. The hunt some call it. But it doesn’t bother me enough to lose sleep over.
The one transgender question that was asked it was a light hearted answer. But my stance on this is that a person can dress and live what ever lifestyle they chose. I do not agree that transgender should be allowed to change their registered sex via medical records or DL unless they’ve made the full transformation.
I do find it odd that in 2014 going into 2015 that sexuality is still an issue when bisexuality was the mainstream back in ancient Greece days and we’ll before it. I know alot of it has to do with organized religion but in a country where it’s apparent that people could care or less how the bible says to live that we have the urge to fight others who just want equal rights and to be able to live their lives unimpeded.

The thing that has always disheartened me about this community is the amount of persecution bullying and discrimination that exists and happens on a daily basis within this community. I mean we are always so adamantly against our straight counterparts who are either telling us who we can or can not love or whether we have the right too marry the person we love or whether we even have the right too adopt a child . The utter indignity of it all just boggles the mind it really does. Your comment unfortunately was a very sensitive subject for me because ive seen people say similar things too how certain gay men talk when they open their mouths and I just look at it is as not everyone speaks the same way or has the same vernacular when they open their mouths. The problem also is that when it comes too online words can be easily misconstrued or misunderstood because you can not hear the inflection of someones voice behind a computer screen you cant see what their facial expressions are when they say certain things.
For me it is so much easier too understand someone when you are right in front of them because the message comes across more clearer without any interference or misunderstandings.

As far as transgender people I just look at it as these people were born in the wrong souls the wrong consciousness the wrong bodies and for anyone too live their lives with sadness regret or a feeling of pain is nothing any human being should endure in this world.
I think its great that they know inside who they were truly meant too be and what they were truly meant too live as as human beings.
For example if I was born into world and I was a female and would wear earrings perfume and makeup and dresses but felt as if something was off there and wasn’t too my comfort level as a human being then I would know in my heart of hearts that I simply was not meant too be a female but instead a male.

For example if someone was once a male but realized they were meant too be female id respond too them as her not he because they no longer identify with being a male because that was not what they were meant too be too begin with.

On a personal note if I may share a personal reveal with you one that I myself am ashamed of and carry the baggage of every single day of my life.
I developed feelings for my brother in law over the years ive never had sex Im still a virgin my father also died in 2011 which too this day is a devastating and ultimately life changing event.
But I digress I at one point found my brother in law obnoxious annoying and irritating yet somehow I started developing a sexual attraction too him the more I looked at him.
I still don’t understand why this is my sisters husband after all.
Last year I stupidly gave in and snuck into my sisters room when they stayed during Thanksgiving last year.
This may seem like an excuse or copout but I assure you its not that morning while I was in the living room I started feeling this uncontrollable urge that just took me over.
Note that Id never felt that kind of thing beforehand and I honestly do not know where it came from.
