Yung Life: “Isn’t This”

If this were around 2006, you might assume that Yung Life‘s a shitty new rapper, trying to capitalize on the success of Yung Joc‘s “It’s Goin’ Down” by dropping the “o” from his stage name. You might have been right back then. But today, in 2012, Yung Life is a Knoxville-based indie band that sounds Phoenix or The Killers having a lo-fi love affair with the 1980s.
