It’s been five years since Clay Maverick appeared in a gay porn flick. While you were wondering where the hell he disappeared to, he was busy enjoying the company of his partner, drinking beers and writing a book about his crazy past.
To promote the upcoming autobiography, the former star contacted Falcon Studios about doing a solo scene. They seemed enthusiastic about this prospect–considering that Clay worked with them several times in the past–but their tone changed when he sent over a few recent pictures.
“Thanks for sending in the new photos,” they wrote back. “Unfortunately I’m not confident you would be able to get your body to the point it needs to be for a solo this Summer. Keep working out and contact me again when you feel you are in tip top shape and ready to be shot again.”
Youch! Despite how much it sounds like that’d hurt, Clay seems to be taking the news in good spirits. He plans on working out until his body’s back in “porn shape”, posting new pictures every week to show his progress. Of course, I wouldn’t have minded to see him to a porno in his current body! Does anyone else agree? In other words, would you hit that?

I don’t know his current age, but he looks fantastic for any guy over late 30’s…I never had a “belly” until I got into my 40’s…very hard to get rid of as we age…I think he should tell Falcon to stick it (though not as politely as that), then market his wares to another studio and earn that studio some money…then add an extra chapter to his book explaining how Falcon treated him…revenge is sweet…and he is still hot…I imagine his partner finds him perfect to cuddle at night…I know I would (though some chest hair would certainly increase his “hot” factor for me)…
There is absolutely nothing wrong with him now, I think he is absolutely perfect the way he is now, I would love to see him do a solo scene now!! Jeez, what a difference five years makes! I love his earlier work, and wondered whatever happened to him. Not to sound cruel, but time has not been kind to this man. He had such a handsome rugged face, with that square jawline and angular bone structure. Now they’re hidden behind the pudginess and that double-chin. As a man going au naturel, he is still strikingly handsome. It may be unfair to compare him to his former hot self. But we are still consumers looking for a great product…not just a good product.

Where are his contemporaries who have also disappeared back into their ‘normal’ lives (and normal names…?), such as Sam Crockett, Mark Kroner, Cliff Parker, Paul Morgan, Paul Carrigan, Drew Andrews, Jason Branch …just to name a handful, and there are many more.
All too often, we never hear another peep about them unless they meet with some spectacular or tragic demise when their names are still vaguely familiar.
