Madonna has some new project on the way and today the official trailer dropped. Because when Katy Perry is “Roar“-ing and Lady Gaga is desperate for all the “Applause“, you have GOT to get your 50-something ass in gear! Do you know how much it costs to keep the toothsome youngsters you find breakdancing in the favela and scooped up for your super-cougar fuck sessions fed and clothed? A lot!
Judging by the trailer and the teasers that preceded it, Madonna has something to say about self-expression (that’s new) and oppression in the US. I’m guessing a short film set in some awful dystopian future gulag where everyone’s in jail for being creative and interpretive dancing about it. And Madge looks to be playing a prisoner AND some sort of lady who blows the other prisoners’ heads off. Through the power of imagery and sound! Or it’s a metaphor. Who the hell knows? Let’s hope it stands out from the glut of hyperspastic imagery we’re bombarded with every day to keep our minds off the important things. I type that as someone who posts a lot of that shit, just so you’re aware I’M aware.
Whatever this deal is, it drops on September 24. Brace yourselves!

This project is something her and Steven Klein have been working on for some time, it’s cute you think she decided to release something because younger artists are.
Steven Klein did some great work with her in 2004 / 2005 for her world tours as well as some photographic work on the side.
