What We Hope Is The Very Last “Call Me Maybe” Lip Synch Vid (Hey, At Least There’s Shirtless Soldiers)

Almost a year late (they’re risking their lives for us, so they get a pass), some U.S. troops in Afghanistan have filmed a shot-for-shot remake of a “Call Me Maybe” lip synch vid done by the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders. What is it about this song? Is there some sort of hypnotic signal buried in the music? Is Carly Rae Jepsen a kind of evil tech genius who created a digital earworm to enslave. I mean, shit, she’s had two singles since this mess. No one’s transported by those songs like they are by this one.

The good thing about this one is that the soldier boys are emulating every move of the cheerleaders, so there’s a lot of rubbing themselves, and showing off their asses and legs. And no one has a shirt on. It makes Afghanistan look like a very sexy place. Within reason, of course.

  1. I’m right there with you. I was thinking most of these guys must be glad DADT has been repealed. And yes, the Mustache is definitely one of ours. And that’s all good with me!

  2. Killing the Taliban is one thing, but freaking them out is quite another. Psychological warfare is the best warfare.

  3. Here’s to our troops on Thanksgiving. Thanks boys. You serve as an all volunteer military. I salute you and am in your debt.
