Weekly Top Ten: Lady Gaga Vs. Kelly Rowland

This means war! For the past nine weeks, Lady Gaga has been undefeated on Manhunt Daily's Weekly Top Ten. Our girl Christina Aguilera almost came close to stealing her spot, but she didn't have enough tricks in her bag to make it work. Now, former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland is moving in to steal Gaga's thunder. Can she go all the way? Only time will tell…

Of course, time can't do shit for the Scissor Sisters, Robyn, Sade and Chely Wright. Their songs couldn't gain enough votes to stay in the mix, so we have no choice but to say goodbye to them. They're joined in the loser's circle by Wild Card rejects Trey Songz, We Are Scientists and The Chemical Brothers.

If you're a Weekly Top Ten virgin, let Tommy Defendi break you in with his huge cock, while I explain the rules to you. Each week you'll be presented with ten songs. You get to vote for up to three that you'd like to see move on to the next week. From those results, we'll take the five tunes with the highest percentages, a song we save and four other contributions. These selections will make up the following week's charts.

Wishing there was a "none of the above" option? Well, quit your bitching and tell us what you want to see on the charts by leaving a suggestion in the comments. We listen to nearly every song you recommend, and if we think it'll have a chance… you might see it here next time around!

– Dewitt

To check out the charts and vote, follow the JUMP:

  1. Lady Gaga f/ Beyonce – Telephone (LW – 1, W10): Don't get so comfortable up there, Queen Gaga! As much as we love you, two other divas have threatened your first place position. Could we be getting close to the end of an era? Perhaps we should ask our next song…
  2. Kelly Rowland – Commander (LW – 2, W3): It was only a measly 1.7 percent that prevented Ms. Kelendria from taking over the charts. She's pulling out big numbers in her third week, so we're keeping our fingers crossed that she'll make it to the top.
  3. Christina Aguilera – Not Myself Tonight (LW – 3, W7): Want to talk some shit about Xtina's new single? Well, here's what she has to say about that: “To anyone who wants to be negative, it’s like, ‘I’m obviously relevant enough to you for you to care’." Oh snap, gurl!
  4. Miley Cyrus – Can't Be Tamed (LW – 9, W2): Throw a Disney Channel pop tart into a cage, and you'll definitely get people talking. Apparently, you'll also get a hit with the gays. We've embraced Miley as a guilty pleasure in the past with "See You Again" and "Party In The U.S.A.", and now it's happening all over again…
  5. Beyonce – Why Don't You Love Me? (LW – 8, W2): Sasha Fierce or B.B. Homemaker? Beyonce evokes both personalities on this fierce album track, and the dance mixes only make it that much better. It's no wonder why she has all those Grammy awards!
  6. Kelis – Acapella (LW – 4, W7): Even though the Scissor Sisters and Robyn got more votes, we had to save our girl Kelis from extinction. This jam from her upcoming Flesh Tones album has been on our iPods for a while now, and we still can't get enough of it.
  7. Katy Perry f/ Snoop Dogg – California Gurls (DEBUT): Song of the summer? Katy's already done it in the past with the annoyingly inescapable "I Kissed A Girl", and it looks like she may do it again with the help of Snoop Dogg and this upbeat, regional anthem.
  8. Alicia Keys – Un-thinkable (I'm Ready) (DEBUT): Is this song supposed to make me want to suck seven dicks in a row? Because something about it makes me really horny. This is undeniably one of the best tracks from Alicia's most recent album, but it's slow pace may hold it back as summer approaches on the Weekly Top Ten.
  9. Chris Young – The Man I Want To Be (WILD CARD): Did Chris gain this spot out of pure sex appeal or because you guys are really into country music? We're not exactly sure at the moment, but damnit… we'd hop on this southern boy's cock with no hesitation.
  10. Robin Thicke f/ Snoop Dogg – It's In The Mornin' (DEBUT): So we apparently have a thing for Snoop Dogg? Not so much, but we do want to roll around naked with Robin Thicke all night long. And then wake up in the morning and do it all over again! This man just may be homosexuality's greatest loss.

  1. dewitt can you add one of the songs of Naima (ANTM) from cycle 5’s band chewing pics.
    http://www.myspace.com/chewingpics
    their album tarantula has
    1) To Capture Helium
    2)The cursed string
    3) Neves Orez
you guys could even do some nice remixes of those songs.
i never realized naima had so much afropunk in her when she was on ANTM
she seems so cool and out there
and the album cover and designs are out of this world

  2. Katy, Christina and Kelly got my votes. Do we have to wait for a video for the new Kylie track “All the lovers”?
If so, then my next suggestion is the new Goldfrapp single “Alive”. Already has an awesome remix by Dave Aude. Check it out.

  3. Drake “Find Your Love”
Keith Urban and Kris Allen “Boys of Summer” (let him be on top of both charts?)

  4. Voted kelly, she’s always been my favourite DC member and I’m really pulling for her.
The best track that Gaga has ever made (IMHO) is “Paparazzi”. Since then nothing else has compared….
Why isn’t the beyonce track “why dont you love me” on the countdown?
You might think about adding “spending all my time” by aaron fresh to the wildcard. you might add “find your love” by drake as well. especially the sped up version (which is around 3:30 minutes on youtube)

  5. Kelly, Kelis and Robin got my votes.
I TOTALLY agree….as soon as you can, Kylie’s “All the Lovers” single should make it’s appearance.

  6. also naima has a new band called galaxy of tar just checked them out now.
    please add
    1) that our own volatile nature
if you don’t add the stuff from chewing pics.
this stuff is also afro-punk but totally different feel to the chewing pics
very, very deep and trans like but in a nice way.
    http://www.myspace.com/galaxyoftar
    very other worldly

  7. Kylie Minogue: All the lovers or the current number one in the UK for the past three weeks: Roll Deep’s “Good Times”.
My votes went to Chrstina, Kelis and Kelly this week.
