I’m glad you asked! This week’s Wild Card round is a battle of the ladies, as Lindsay Lohan, Kimberley Locke, Nicki Minaj and Erykah Badu fight for a place on our charts. Who will you be voting for? You only have one day to make your choice, so make your decision quickly and wisely!

———————————————————————————

Lindsay Lohan – Stuck: Lindsay won me over after her breakout role in Mean Girls, and quickly lost me as she drifted into drugged-out tabloid fodder territory. Could she win me back with this song? Doubtful. We hate to admit it though, but this is surprisingly not terrible.

———————————————————————————

Kimberley Locke – Strobelight: The former American Idol contestant has always been supportive of our community, so we have to show some love for the disco flavor of her new track “Strobelight”. Does she have what it takes to make it onto our Weekly Top Ten?

———————————————————————————

Nicki Minaj f/ Sean Garrett – Massive Attack: The rap game has experienced a serious drought of exciting offerings from female emcees. Enter Nicki Minaj, the charismatic leading lady of Lil Wayne’s Young Money crew. She’s pretty spectacular, even if the beat of her debut single “Massive Attack” sounds like robot ducks farting all over your ears.

———————————————————————————

Erykah Badu – Window Seat: More people have been talking about the music video for Erykah Badu’s “Window Seat” than the actual song. I guess that’s what happens when you strip down in public and stage your own assassination in the same spot that John F. Kennedy was killed? Yeah, it’s pretty heavy.

  1. As much of a 70’s disco retread as it is, Kimberly Locke, nevertheless, has the only entry here that is at least listenable. The other three are amazingly horrendous, in my opinion.

  2. Nicki Minaj is the SHIT! This isn’t even one of her better songs but its tight! Reminds me of Trina and I LOVES me some Trina! Not often does a bad ass rapper bitch emerge who ain’t afraid to express how down and dirty and hardcore she is. I’d like to suggest Nicki’s other song called “Envy”. Love it!

  3. K-LO! Wow, that’s the best disco-inspired song since Jamiroquai’s Canned Heat. I LOVE it. Good girl!

  4. Ok now I ADORE Nicki Minaj, but WTF%^&#! was this shit, lol? She was lookin fly as shit w/ the green hair, and her and Amber Rose in the pink convertible…Classic!

  5. you thought La-Lo’s song was NOT Terrible Dewitt? O.o…what were you listening to? It was pretty much the same 3-5 sentences on repeat.
I’m stuck between Erykah and Kimberly…but I went with Erykah.

  6. I don’t know what that shit Nicki is doing. I want to like her but she is just Lil Kim recycled with the whole Barbie thing. Like Kim did that shit 10 years ago. Right down to the colored wigs! lol.

  7. i really like the actual music of the lohan song but what’s up with the lyrics i will have to say i have to go with kimberly locke she is actually pretty fierce with this song
