Trouble In Maine For Marriage Equality

Dkos Maine Poll

The next battleground for marriage equality is already showing signs that aren't very positive. We're talking about Maine and a new DailyKos/Research 2000 poll that shows us losing the battle to keep gay marriage legal in that state.

As you can see above, it is very close. With such a thin margin it will really come down to the ad wars and money raised. I hope this one doesn't turn out like California! At least the poll continues to show that the younger generation is on our side, so even if we lose now, the future looks bright!

  1. actually, the numbers are looking pretty good. a healthy number of left-leaning undecideds left to pick off. they need to do what we did in AZ in 06 and make it about benefits and less about “equality” and gay rights (I’m talking strictly about the ad campaign, of course).

  2. young people have obviously been brain-washed. Democrats have always been a waste of oxygen. ‘Bout time people show some sense in NE.

  3. On the bright side, DailyKos/Research 2000 couldn’t make a scientific poll to save their life.
Also, I find it ironic that a republican is calling someone brain-washed.
