Firstly, being in the army doesn’t automatically make you a warrior or a hero. Secondly, he’s obviously fetishizing this man. Something completely in his right as he’s not harming anyone. Something we’ve all done in our daily lives, whether it be sexually, or in a different manner.

Snowball II, First of all he is not in the Army, but the Marines and has a combat action ribbon on his chest, which means that he was in combat, if you’re interested, it is the on the top row of ribbins on the left side, it is a very big honor for a Marine to serve in actual combat. Why do a lot of you assume that any association with homosexuality is a bad thing? Everyone complaining about image and equality have missed the point that you are automatically saying that it is insulting or wrong for a straight guy to be on a gay blog. It implies that “gay” is humiliating or an insult and that is what I find disgusting and insulting. The only thing that should happen if a straight guy finds his picture here is to say that, while he is flattered, he’s not gay and leave it at that. There is nothing wrong with finding a guy attractive and speculating, there is however something wrong with confirming that being thought of as gay is a problem.

Bloggers take said pics and reapply them to their sites for objectification. The site is also perfectly legal. I think it would be “just desserts” for all of you Queens out there to find your pics posted up for tearing down.

The only problem that I can see is if this is a copyright picture and is being used without permission. The picture is apparently taken in public. Let’s be honest, if you’re in public, someone will see you and have an opinion on you sexually. I personally find him hot, and obviously some others disagree. That’s fair enough. I’m wrong about that aspect but that still doesn’t address the topic at hand-why is this column offensive, especially just because he’s a marine/straight. Heres my 2 cents…I find it hilarious that 95% of you assume he is straight just because one of two reasons (or both)…1)he is a Marine, and 2) He is straight.
#1…I know more gay Marines then I do straight Marines…heres a clue…you can’t tell the different without asking…or knowing them personally (at least in my experiences..I also come from a very large military family that has many different cousins in all branches)
#2 My father and grandfather never wore wedding rings…and they were married to their wives since their early 20’s. The gay Marines I know (who are married), except for 1 pair, wear wedding rings.
