“I Think I Got Fucked By At Least 15 Dudes”

The title of this piece is a direct quotation from an 18 year-old bottom boy who attended MAL this past January. Before embarking on his quest for semen, this clean-cut cutie with a fantastically hairy hole decided to film a video for Deviant Otter with the man himself and his equally horny pup. The kinky trio played for a couple of hours, and according to Mr. Devin Totter‘s calculations, they “pumped and dumped 5 loads into this kid”. You would think that would be enough to satisfy his lust for jizz in various orifices, but nope, this young fellow just kept on going…

“Some dudes are cum hungry,” the scene description for Deviant Otter reads. “But this kid was cum starving. At the end of the weekend I asked how many loads he had taken and his response was, ‘not sure, but I think I got fucked by at least 15 dudes.'” And, well, if it’s his standard behavior to make guys bust 2-3 loads, that could be anywhere between 30-45 loads total in a single weekend! Yikes.

So, uh, how soon is it before the boys at Sketchy Sex invite him to be their new housemate?

  1. What an absolutely repulsive story. And people wonder why gay people have struggled for so long to be accepted by mainstream society? Fucking appalling. That 18 year old is no doubt a breakdown waiting to happen and as for deviant otter…The Deviant part is totally right for sure.

  2. I couldn’t agree more, brother…What a sad commentary to the reckless sexual “Russian-Roulette” of glorified Bareback porn that is tainting the gay adult entertainment industry…The sad thing is that this is presented with such chirpy gusto by the author without any sense of irony or social consciousness to at least acknowledge the dizzying health risks of this behavior…God, save our gay youth…

  3. I have been barebacking my entire life… I am 33 yes I have had HIV for 11 years now but I am very healthy

  4. to me taking thats many dicks in only 2 days shudnt be something to be excited bout as it makes ya look so friggin easy lol but hey each to ur own

  5. …and i assume you’re contributing this fact out of “pride” for overshooting the life expectancy that lola predicted for this behavior?
May i respectfully ask you a question, dear man? in hindsight, were all those condomless orgasms worth compromising your health? So many impressionable gay youths are reading these articles on this website and watching shit like “Sketchy Sex” & “Deviant Otter” being routinely desensitized to the risks of bareback sex…Really, as a 33 year old man living with the cocktail-frozen timebomb of HIV, can you say it was worth it?

  6. Really sad to read this and how the fear of contracting HIV has become chic and manageable with all kinds of pills and meds being pushed by drug companies…It’s no longer the ‘death sentence’ of the 80’s but a life on meds is a high price to pay for a few hours of physical lust..but it’s all about the money and what will appeal to a guy’s inner horny lust…

  7. look thats promoting unsafe sex. aids is real and a very nasty disease. this is bullshit.

  8. This is why HIV and other STDs continue to flourish in the gay community. Nothing is more important than BBing, apparently. Sad.

  9. If this kid is barebacking and taking countless loads on camera at age 18, chances are he’s pretty reckless. He could be dead from disease, from drugs, from whatever. It’s sad that someone like this can be so blasé about the risks he’s taking.

  10. To the guys who judge that bareback porn is repulsive and is a reason that “gay people have struggled for so long to be accepted by mainstream society,” I would like to call to your attention the legislation circulating in CA that requires ALL PORN STUDIO performers to wear condoms. It is backed by the CDC, and being fought by the porn industry as a First Amendment Right violation.

We have faced fear and rejection from society via legislation and imprisonment for centuries prior to porn, because HOMOSEXUALITY ITSELF was, and in some states, still a CRIME. You and I now have the FREEDOM TO CHOOSE to practice safe or bareback sex with our own partners.

When you air your judgements on this forum condemning bb porn, you are exercising your First Amendment Right, as do the porn sites you view. There is an equal number of sites online that shoot and distribute condom porn, vs. non-condom porn. Straight porn sites have long shown bareback sex, beginning with reel-to-reel movies. The fact that we can view these sites at all is a First Amendment Right PRIVILEGE.

The etymology of “porn” itself is a judgement on behavior deemed by society as deviant, yet through the centuries, the word has lost most of its “sting.” It has become innocuous; just a descriptor for graphic sexual behavior.

Yes, HIV and AIDS is a devastating disease that has plagued the latter half of the 20th Century, but 21st Century medical know-how is controlling and may eventually find a cure for it. The fact that the FDA and AMA has allowed the sale and distribution of PrEP (paid by most insurance companies) as a means to prevent the spread of it is huge step.

Condoms are a product of the last century; prior to latex, we were faced with FATAL STI’s such as syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia. Yes ~ FATAL and life-threatening. The invention of penicillin and other antibiotics has rendered these curable, and no longer fatal in American Society. Third world countries cannot say the same.

The only true form of “safe sex” is abstinence. I, myself, find that difficult to practice. Good God, I’m a gay man. I love sex! But I also choose what sexual practices I want, and find willing partners who do the same. I neither condemn, nor condone what the bloggers of this site show us. They are given the privilege to do so, and I am happily reading and writing about it.

Those guys who find bareback sex as abhorrent; please continue to exercise your right to not partake, but don’t throw the guys in the video clip above under the bus. As a consumer, you also have the right to use the power of the dollar. Without revenue to maintain the Deviant Otter site, it will eventually shut down.

Devin Totter and the MAL bottom boy are both of legal and consenting age. Devin did not coerce this guy into getting fucked raw, and take other men’s loads. He looked like he enjoyed himself, and he wanted to film and post his adventures for our consumption.

    In closing:
“Those who cast the first stone…blah, blah, blah.”

  11. You are obviously intelligent and articulate. You know your gay social/cultural history very well. You know & appreciate your First Amendment rights as an American. You sound like a responsible gay man. THAT is all commendable…But please don’t try to justify this dangerous sleaze any further…Bareback sex videos are really just abstract”snuff” films waiting to happen…Is THIS the gay cultural “legacy” you like to see propagandized in mainstream media?

  12. It’s fantasy people. Get over it. I all but guarantee you he’s safer fucking Deviant Otter raw, than with that random person you hooked up with last weekend.

Do you drink, do you smoke, do you j-walk, do you eat animal flesh, do you speed in your car? Those acts are often far riskier and more likely to take your life than fucking bareback.

  13. it IS “fantasy”, but there ARE more responsible and safer ways to present that fantasy to protect the performers AND eroticize “safer” sex for the impressionable masses watching adult entertainment…THAT is all we are saying in this forum.

  14. Don’t shoot the messenger. In this particular case, I was merely trying to present this scene without projecting my own views onto the circumstances.

“Yikes” was pushing it, frankly. You, as the viewers, can decide how you feel about this (and, clearly, most of you have chosen your side by now).

  15. HERE HERE SETH CHASE! HOORAH! It is fantasy for our consumption.

The only “justification” I wish to make is the fact we can enjoy our freedom to have this discussion, and watch any content on the internet. Again, I neither condone nor condemn that site’s sexual practices. It’s for our consumption to watch, enjoy and purchase, if we choose.

As for “snuff film,” that may be overreaching. From a purely scientific stand point, gay sex and the use of condoms in sex is also a form of “snuff.”

I am not a fundamentalist Christian, nor will I use the Bible or any other religious reference in this argument, but condoms and gay sex are “unnatural (I use that word very loosely, so those who think I’m a Bible thumper, move on. I’m not).”

Sex in the animal kingdom (complex chromosome, carbon based lifeforms) is a means to propagate one’s species. In the “natural order” of things, sex creates life. In same sex, the sperm will not fertilize an egg, and new life will not be created. Latex does the same; a barrier for the sperm to reach the egg. In other terms, to use your word “snuff,” human kind’s invention of condoms, and gay men’s spilling of seed not-to-an-egg, will “snuff out” the human race.

The “legacy” I wish to leave is again, a non-judgemental rebuttal of damning words such “deviant” and “abhorrent.” I voice my opinion, because I enjoy the First Amendment; however, the use of those terms serves only to perpetualize HATE. And that is a “legacy” as a gay man I find horrible. HATE has led to genocide. All I ask, is NOT to advocate HATE; the HATRED for the video Devin Totter and MAL bottom posted, and this blogger’s choice to bring it to our attention, is what will eventually destroy all of us ~ gay and straight.

  16. i understand your position as a blogger/journalist for a site which is subsidized (in advertising dollars) by the very same bareback studios you are asked to write about. i know you are on a slippery slope because you “owe” it to these advertisers to publicize a product that is basically helping to pay your salary. Still, as a talented writer and a socially conscious gay man, I would hope that YOU, Mr. Dewitt, would use your power-of-the-press and public platform for BETTER purposes other than to sell this “snake-oil” to impressionable gay audiences. But I DO
understand the strange protocols of internal MH internet “commerce” that restricts your response to these subjects.

  17. Gay youth today don’t know their history and they don’t respect those who fought those battles so they can be more open about their sexuality like they do now. They need to see stories like Longtime Companion and the Normal Heart to know how difficult things were regarding the AIDS crisis. What is worse are men who lived through it all and are now engaging in bareback sex because they are influenced by porn and others in the community that say the sex is hotter without a condom. Just sad.

  18. “Impressionable masses” is a term that carries a lot of connotations. Who has the right to deem someone as “impressionable?” From a purely legal standpoint, the only “class” of citizen is the person below the age of 14 (as cited by the CA Criminal Code).

  19. well, i do not “hate” the studios who are profiting from bareback porn, i pity them…it really is an unsavory aspect of the erotic film industry, and not a very socially-conscious line of work to be in…that is all…and i really feel my use of the adjective “SNUFF” is correct: taking a viral load up the ass & directly into the bloodstream from an HIV positive man will most likely infect an individual with an ultimately fatal illness ( although modern meds can fool one into believing otherwise). i appreciate your intelligent reply, but really, there is no justification for this behavior other than just saying “to each, their own”…and God help them.

  20. oh buddy, you really need to take a long hard look at this modern world we live in & pay attention to the actions and “beliefs” that have been embraced by far-too-trusting audiences of entertainment & social media…we have ignorant people who will use the internet as escapism rather than the educational “encyclopedia” it can be…There are ‘impressionable” individuals of ALL ages and walks-of-life who are absorbing EVERYTHING fed and said to them within digital media without any filter of natural intelligence or common sense…Let’s not further toxify the already-impaired judgments of these poor ignorant individuals with the irresponsible glorification of unsafe sex…You get where i’m coming from, brother?

  21. I love sex, and I’d dearly love to be gangbanged – 15 guys would be great.

But bareback? No. SImply not worth the risk. Yeah, I suck cock without a sheath, and yeah I swallow cum, which presents a small risk – but quite simply it’s a vanishingly small risk next to bareback sex, especially with that many guys where the risk of mucous membrane damage is so high.

The need for safer sex is so deeply ingrained in me that I have to stop watching BB porn – it just doesn’t turn me on…

  22. very valuable insight! thank you for sharing it in this morally muddy (but very IMPORTANT) social debate 😉

  23. As to your reply to my previous thread: Wow!

Do you know what the word “assume” means? Why do you assume that the video clip that Dewitt posted is a portrayal of

“taking a viral load up the ass & directly into the bloodstream from an HIV positive man will most likely infect an individual with an ultimately fatal illness ( although modern meds can fool one into believing otherwise)?”

That last part sounds like that of a conspiracy theorist. Sucking cock leads to STI’s as well, that were once classified as fatal. As a gay man, do you practice fellatio? Has modern medicine fooled you into sucking or not sucking cock?

As to “Let’s not further toxify the already-impaired judgments of these poor ignorant individuals with the irresponsible glorification of unsafe sex…” And at what point in my rebuttal did I “glorify” unsafe sex? I do NOT condone, GLORIFY or condemn unsafe sex. What I am bring to the forum’s attention is the First Amendment; both Dewitt’s and Deviant Otter’s, nothing else. In fact, I forgot to mention, Devin Totter has posted video clips of himself and his partners having condom sex on his website, too.

I may be your gay brother, but I am definitely not your “buddy.”

If you wish to have “God help them (your words),” then exercise your voting and consumer rights by backing the CA legislation I spoke of earlier.

  24. well, NOW you’re reading waaaaaay too much into my reply to you which just isn’t there. i did not say that YOU are condoning unsafe sex at all, i was talking about the bareback studios…and i can’t understand why you’d use the phrase “conspiracy theorist” about what i said about bareback sex possibly leading to what can be a fatal (if UNTREATED) infection with HIV…i am not assuming that the men in the “deviant otter” clip are HIV positive, but their risky sexual PRACTICES can certainly expose them to dangerous STDs. No “conspiracy” there, dear…And i DO support the CA legislation and applaud you for mentioning it…Ultimately, please remember that although you and I may NOT agree on EVERY aspect of the topic at hand, we BOTH can add relevant and much-needed commentary to a subject that needs much more insightful discussion in our community…Amen to THAT 😉

  25. Again:
    “Assume”

    Harsh and condemning words:
    “cocktail-frozen time bomb of HIV.”

  26. You did not mention “untreated” in your original response. That is the “modern medicine” of which you speak, no?

  27. There are countless battles that we have all forgotten; my grandfather’s, my father’s and my youth. Even today’s youth. There are some that won’t, because they have been recorded via the media. And I beg to differ that today’s gay youth doesn’t respect those before them.

The film adaptation of “The Normal Heart” is a product of today, and pays homage to that in this 21st century society. It is that youth with the knowledge, forethought and money who realistically portray the early stages of “the gay disease” of AIDS. It has been shown to hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people in the US.

  28. i’ve”assumed”nothing from jon’s reply at all. He is an admittedly HIV positive man who has been living an admittedly “healthy” existence with the infection for 11 years…The miracle of modern medicine (the “cocktail”) has “frozen” the infection from advancing, thus preventing it from being the “timebomb” it WOULD have been if he had been infected during the 1980s…HIV & AIDS are the only ‘HARSH’ things i’m talking about…And the only thing they will “condemn” anyone to is a life of impaired health that could be avoided thru the care, intelligence, responsibility and education that i think we BOTH (in our own unique ways) are championing…So, stop fighting with ME and START fighting for the continued public awareness we need to keep these dreaded infections from spreading…Vous comprenez, ca? 😉

  29. and WE are talking about an issue of GLOBAL impact, so please don’t take the various aspects of this “debate” so personally. we are BOTH ‘soldiers’ in the same cultural battle against the ignorance and apathy that can allow human irresponsibility to have dangerous consequences. Be well, sir 😉

  30. I have to agree with you guys, it is just absolute stupid to play with your life like that an other lives.
barebacking for an hr+ is not worth the YOUR LIFE.. if they Don’t Wrap it, Dont let them Tap it…
JMDartist, you hit it right on the nose wth that statment…

  31. People keep on missing the big picture….barebacking leads to other std’s….herpes, anal warts…need I keep going? Good luck to all those who are reckless and weren’t born before the 80’s epidemic of aids…it’s not safe to bareback anonymously. Pick a partner, get tested and stick with him…dont’ have an open relationship and don’t cheat. Bottom line is living with HIV and taking the cocktail and still barebacking is not the solution because the virus will mutate and the cocktails will stop working…..as for Truvada that’s not the solution either…STD’s boys…..wake up.

  32. Why would he be safer fucking deviant otter raw when deviant otter is fucking everything with a pulse? LMAO! That’s the most ridiculous analogy I’ve ever heard of in regards to porn movies and barebacking!

  33. I agree with most of the posters here…BB is ridiculous given the risks. I will never understand its appeal. Seems like the people who go for it are those who have fetishized it…the idea of raw “natural” sex, when in reality it doesn’t feel any different once you are in. Most guys wouldn’t even notice if the condom broke and came off, so they can’t tell me that the sensation is so much better when there is no condom.

  34. The slut does have good form and an enticing jiggly body made to fuck, but most of you posters are correct. This cum receptacle is on a set course for the bug. “Another” guy with severe low self-esteem joining the bareback lifestyle.

  35. Perhaps I should have said “most porn performers” rather than “Deviant Otter”, as I don’t personally know him. However, my point is still valid.

Most responsible porn performers get tested on a regular basis. Every 30-days, or even more in some cases. Most guys you meet at the bar or on your favorite hookup app, have know idea what their recent status is for HIV or any other STI.

What you see on screen is largely fantasy, made to appear spontaneous. I know for a fact that most of these sites that give the illusion of anonymous, spontaneous sex, all pre-screen their guys.

Rarely is it as irresponsible as many commentators here make it out to be.

  36. “Rarely is it as irresponsible as many commentators here make it out to be.” aaaaaah…if you could only be so sure….

  37. interesting…do you work for ALL the adult studios that create bareback content? do you monitor all the individuals who have their own adult video blogs (like “deviant otter”) and can perform their “acts” free from big studio regulations and protocols? i’d love to have that kind of omniscience 😉

  38. JMDartist: I respect your opinion, but it isn’t validated by science. In fact, the only basis which appears to inform your statements seems to be a desire to spread apocalyptic fear. You are clearly not educated as to the actual level of risk HIV presents to others, so let me enlighten you.

As of 2014, your per-incidence likelihood of contracting HIV from unprotected receptive anal intercourse with an HIV-positive partner is about 1.38% (CDC, 2014). So, let’s say you’re working for a studio – they want you to do bareback, but have to practice risk-reduction to satisfy civil legal requirements… Enter PrEP. Now your likelihood is down to .138%, better than if a condom alone had been used. Let that sink in. Bareback sex with PrEP is statistically safer than condom use.

Both reduce HIV transmission by an order of magnitude, but one in six condoms fail while in use. Obviously, taking a cock will not cause you to instantly meet a horrible death. This is not the Ark of the Covenant, it’s sex.

I don’t condone propaganda that damages the public health. Adult entertainment studios that promote condomless sex without saying, “our performers use PrEP,” are promoting a potentially harmful lifestyle, to be sure. And whether it’s one in seventy-two or one in seven hundred and twenty, I feel that bareback sex is not something worth throwing the dice on. But I recognize that others get to make their choices, and I would not want them informed by anything other than fact. You promote a belief which is equally wrong, and has terrified many of our peers into avoiding sexual expression altogether, or conflating the notion of sex with foulness.

Your statements, poetic as they are (“cocktail-frozen timebomb” is perfectly crafted – cheers to you if it’s yours), are rooted in malevolent, willful ignorance – willful insofar as you could easily educate yourself (with this wonderful “educational ‘encyclopedia'”), and malevolent insofar as you could very articulately do the same for others. You choose not to. Lacking evidence, you fill your suppositions with unreasoning panic, hoping to craft a contagion far more virulent than the disease you seek to prevent. Unlike HIV, your infection, once held in the heart, can not be stopped. It is slow death – there is no halting the advance of isolation, grief, and bitterness that shutting away the outside world brings.

I ask you to reconsider your rhetoric, and act as an advocate for truth, rather than fear. Part of the problem is that people don’t have a realistic understanding of the risks involved. They’re presented with either an image of harmlessness, or one of utter doom, and unless they’re religious folk, those sort of absolute-truth scenarios tend to be dismissed as fallacy. They are, but with nothing left to fill that void, the same thinking which leads to drunk-driving fatalities becomes the basis of risk assessment, the mistaken belief that because it hasn’t happened from the one time, or the hundredth, that it will not happen next time.

1.38%. One in seventy-two. These are real numbers; models of risk that are easy to relate to. No need for fear or rhetoric, just the awareness: “Is this the time that my number’s up?”

It’s young gay men that are leading the way in new infections; doom-and-gloom approaches will not work – that is to say, they’ll work as well as they ever have. I urge anyone who is set on spreading fear of HIV to spread truth instead; some things are better taught than learned by experience.

  39. honey, i wish this was ALL just over-dramatized “doom-and-gloom”, but it is NOT…i am not creating some “apocalyptic” paranoia or perpetuating an “ignorant” and “unsubstantiated” outlook on this issue…i appreciate your very well-crafted statistics, but the tragic reality is that the sexual behaviors that we are discussing here, when engaged in by individuals who do not know their current HIV/STD status, can ultimately lead to infection from ANY of these STDs…in this day-and-age, no matter how closely regulated by the studios, bareback activity (whether in the “fantasy” setting of porn or in riskier, anonymous hook-ups in real-life) is an UNWISE activity, to say the least. No “irresponsibility” or “hysteria” in that statement. Just common sense. YOU, as a statistician and academic, should know BETTER, sir 😉

  40. Joining the chorus here that this is a sad statement on the gay community in 2014. This poor child has clearly not been educated to the dangers of what he is doing, or he has such low self esteem that he simply doesn’t care. Either way it is something no person with a shred of community conscience should be promoting or condoning. Sad sad sad. I only hope this foolish 18-year-old has enough funds to cover the drugs he’s going to need to manage his inevitable disease.

  41. He is a sexy cum dump! I wish I knew his tumblr url. I sure want to see a better picture of his hairy ass and smooth upper body. The faggot likes to kiss a lot too.

P.S. – he is a prime host for some virus. All porn stars are. That Rod Daily guy has HIV now…I guess getting different rod daily will do that.

  42. They’re not “well-crafted statistics,” they’re the results of meta-analyses of research conducted by scientists all over the world. They’re not propaganda, and certainly not mine, they’re just numbers that are rooted in the real world. The numbers that inform our prevention and treatment paradigm. A paradigm which, in the last thirty years, has led to an 89% reduction in transmission. Obviously, the numbers are good.

Your statements are most certainly unsubstantiated, however. I’m fairly certain that I demonstrated that. Would you prefer that I dismantle them individually? That’s a little too time-consuming for my taste, and this isn’t the forum to do a point-by-point comparison of your statements with fact. I call them ignorant because I assumed that you were not aware that they had no basis in science. If you did, then they aren’t ignorant, they’re deliberately misleading.

And as to not knowing your STI status… If you’re sexually active, you don’t. Period. I’m not sexually active. I stopped getting tested after three negative results. I can be confident that I’m not infected with any sexually transmitted illness. But you can be damned sure that I’ll get tested again before I have sex with anyone, and I’ll ask the same of my partner. Anyone who can’t wait until the test results come back to fuck with confidence has no idea of the circus they’re missing out on.

But it’s only through your backpedaling that we’re even talking about illnesses other than HIV. This entire chain of events, as far as I’m concerned, started when you rather nastily attacked someone for sharing that they were a healthy HIV-positive man, under the assumption that they were part of “the problem.” Your earlier posts were just the typical reactionary hype that comes up whenever some MHD poster gets a bug up their ass about the bareback sex in adult entertainment. When you made it personal to Jon, you made it personal to yourself, and your perspective became open to criticism – what you choose to believe is unassailable, whether it’s right or wrong. What you share with others, to influence their choices and their beliefs, is subject to censure when it’s obviously out of line with fact.

Spread truth. Facts, experiences, reality. And then, when you’ve informed others, recognize that the choice is ultimately theirs to make. You don’t actually have the moral high-ground from which you can judge others’ choices. Even if you might have at some point in your life, that disappeared the moment you misled others with your statements.

I think I understand why you did that; after all, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. When the cure doesn’t yet exist, you really have to lay that prevention on thick, right? Well, you risk turning reality into fantasy; real monsters can become bogeymen if people aren’t confronted with facts about them.

ALSO, your use of CAPITAL letters to create ARTIFICIAL emphasis is exactly the sort of behavior I’m talking about. REALITY is, as has been iterated to you a few times now, very DIFFERENT from your belief about it.

NO ONE is suggesting that unprotected sex is safe, and I don’t think anyone here sincerely BELIEVES that. YOU are the only one suggesting THAT HIV IS A TIME BOMB. Or for that matter, that FOR the IMPRESSIONABLE MASSES, FEAR IS NOT an EFFECTIVE means of restricting action. If they’re impressionable, then yes, some (not all, not even most) can be made to avoid an activity through fear.

If you’re going to make a statement to those with unformed perspectives, truth is the impression to make. People can stop being afraid of something, whether through coercion from outside parties, deliberate disinhibition (drugs and alcohol), or simple choice and contrariness. What a person can’t do, no matter how hard they try, is believe a lie once they understand the truth. They can choose to play along, but they can’t go back to not knowing. If you want to ensure that people know better, teach them better.

I’m neither an academic nor a scholar. I do my research before I make statements, the same way I expect anyone who claims knowledge of a subject to. When I’m shown to be wrong, I understand that if I don’t accept the facts that stand in contradiction to me, I’m knowingly promoting falsehood, and I revise my beliefs. No matter how you dance around the subject, you failed to do your research, and made spurious claims. I addressed them, and your method of communicating them. I believe that there are more effective alternatives to educating people than simply saying, “don’t do it, guys.”

  43. Your response speaks for itself and the more and more that I read comments like yours I am brought to the conclusion that in 2014 IGNORANCE is not blissed it is just plain FUCKING STUPID !!!

  44. my my…you ARE testy, aren’t ya ;)…i honestly can’t relate to your intense ire over my comments…as you can see, they are SHARED by the majority of respondents here…i was not being “nasty” to jon earlier, i was just trying to make a very valid point about the blase indifference some individuals have toward protecting and educating themselves about this disease…despite all your academic blustering, you still can’t point to anything that i have said in my responses that is patently irresponsible or untrue in the larger scope of this debate…i just hope you can use your considerable language skills and tenacious grasp of the obvious to better advantage in your own personal life than you have HERE.

  45. Amen, brother! i’m amazed at some of the crackerjacks who are trying to justify why we SHOULDN’T worry about this behavior…makes me wonder what those bozos are up to in THEIR bedrooms…

  46. What? People can deliberately over-state the risk of HIV, but understating it is stupid?

Well, hey there Pot – I’ve got Kettle on the other line, he has a message for you.

Although most of those activities he listed do have a higher likelihood of causing you life-threatening harm than unprotected sex (especially if you’re the top), it’s important to minimize risk where we can. I would say that practicing risk-aware, safer sex is an easy way to do that. Easier for most people than letting off the accelerator, not having that extra drink, or quitting the smokes. God knows that two months later, there hasn’t been a day that goes by that I don’t want a cigarette, but it’s been two years and I don’t feel any need to go out and have sex.

Also, I’ll tell you exactly what’s going on in my bedroom right now. I’m watching you descend once again into personal attacks, clearly uninformed by observed reality. You’re preaching to the converted as far as safe sex is concerned. The only difference between us is methodology. You want people to be afraid of something, and so you make it bigger and more terrifying than it is. I see no need to do that – the plain, unvarnished truth will scare everyone who is going to be scared, and the rest will make their decisions based on fact, and have no one to cry to when they get burned.

  47. i’m not trying to ‘terrify” anyone here…i have a reliable knack for sweeping people into passionate conversations about issues of importance, and THAT is what you are observing…if you have read something in my comments that YOU think is fear-mongering or irresponsible in nature, i am asking you to reproduce it in bullet-point form in your response to me and clearly explain why it bothers you…THIS should be interesting 😉

  48. Dewitt U say don’t shoot the messenger but the messenger does not seem 2 get the message ! I would for once like to see M/H approach this subject with a healthcare point of view rather than that of the advertiser dollars . It is mind boggling how people are starting to treat this disease like it is nothing more than the common cold as if you could walk into your local CVS or any other drug store for that matter and pick and choose your choice of remedy from the HIV/AIDS cocktail isle , I wish it were that simple but it is not and yes Dewitt I am in agreement with you about not shooting the messenger HOWEVER I wish the messenger would do a much better job by using his bully pulpit in since to get the word out to all of those who view this disease with rose colored glasses on TAKE THE FUCKING GLASSES OFF The only time this disease will bare roses is when they are LAYING on top your grave !!!

  49. BRILLIANTLY expressed, my friend…Thank God for another voice of reason in this murky moral goo….

  50. Calm down guys. This guy is a pornographer. He is getting paid to have sex with whomever he is doing it with and his “risk” is much less than it would be if he were picking up strangers cruising. In the clip he is only “shown” doing it with deviant otter. Do you really think the story about MAL is true? I am pretty sure it is not. Porn is about “fantasy.” Anyone that replicates what they see in a porn flick is crazy anyway. Most people gay or straight still believe sex should be in a relationship or at least with someone you know. Most porn flicks do not promote that. Let’s just accept this for what it is…porn! 😉

  51. I doubt the cum dump got paid. He did it to give his craving a temporary fix.
An hour after they separated, the cum dump was back on the strip
seeking out more cock! Can you blame him? Surely you can! But he’s 18,
his hormones are raging and his hunger for sex is in overdrive. Add that
to the fact he loves to store a lot of cum in his butt. Anyway, I doubt
any of them made a significant profit from this except relief. His site
is below average, and he is Filthy…his friends are too. They’re the
type that lurk and hang out in dirty bathrooms, hooking up.

  52. “His site is below average, and he is Filthy…his friends are too. They’re the type that lurk and hang out in dirty bathrooms, hooking up.”

and THAT is what makes his videos so tragic, disturbing and UN-sexy to watch.

  53. Then don’t! But get down off your soap-box – We heard the first time and NOW the twenty-first time! Yeeff – Do you have any OTHER hobbies or is being the doom and gloom conscience of MH your main skill-set?

  54. Alright, you asked for it. We’ll take it by the numbers, the way your comments look when a visitor arrives at this page:

Visitor: “Oh, fifteen dudes? Damn, did you go to the bathroom, or just clean yourself out with a shop-vac every half-hour? Oh, hey! Comments!”

0: (Paraphrasing) “It’s irresponsible of studios to promote bareback sex, and I think the author of this post has an obligation to tell others that.” – Awesome; I respect that opinion, and the insight you showed when you explained that Dewitt’s job is to advertise for these folks, something we all know and have come to accept as a bit of a necessary evil if we’re going to see other articles.

(By the by, dear moderator, way to leave a Dewitt-shaped cloud on your way out of this warzone. I can only imagine that from your perspective, it was like watching the ocean pull back before a tsunami.)

And then you told us how you REALLY feel…

1: By condescending to Jon and the “Impressionable masses.” – That assumes that the masses of gay men, who have been exposed to the risks of HIV in the media for thirty-four years, have not formed an impression about the subject. Here you come to save the day. Do you have facts? Evidence? No, you have an opinion, and the suggestion that an HIV-positive man, who you sneeringly mock the use of the word “healthy” in relation to, explain to a straw man (the great many young people reading this) how awful his life is. It didn’t seem awful at all.

2: “Taking viral loads up the ass and directly into the bloodstream.” – First, it’s disgusting imagery, and connotes your disdain of people living with HIV. Second, it’s wrong, both in literal and figurative mechanics; refer to our discussion of per-incidence transmission risk. Third, it assumes that all people who have sex without a condom are having unprotected sex. There are obviously other means of protection.

3: “Educational ‘encyclopedia'” (The Internet) – Yep. It’s called fact-checking. It’s easy, and it makes it impossible for anyone to attack an argument without facts of their own. I mean, you’re not attacking my argument, are you? You’re attacking me, personally. It’s pretty craven and uncivil, but I’ll indulge it. On we go…

4: “Pretty much everything you said to Seth Chase” – You’re so stuck on your position, that even when someone who is in a place to know better than you makes a correction to your groundless statements, you assume that you know better. Look, none of us would dare tell you how to be snide and/or wrong, it’s professional courtesy. We accept your expertise, and just ask that you understand that there are experts in OTHER fields out there, that you should respect. Also, if you’re producing adult content for sale or distribution in the US, EU, or pretty much anywhere else with high-speed Internet, you have to follow your local regulations. Size really doesn’t matter. People who don’t follow those regulations are NOT reflective of the industry as a whole, the same way that a few gay pedophiles on the Internet did not mean that all gay people on the Internet were sexual predators. Remember those days?

5: (To Studentofthesenses) “Very valuable insight! I thank you for sharing blah blah blah in two hours I’m going to reverse my position on the activities you just described, because it’s not just about HIV anymore.” – ‘Nuff said, right? See, comparing the timestamps on your statements to their order in the conversation leads to some head-scratching. “Consistently changing,” is not really the definition of consistency that you want to have for your statements.

6+: “Someone agrees with my belief that unprotected sex is to be avoided, but doesn’t think I’m right to use fear as a tool! I must make them seem small, so that only my fear-mongering remains!” (Your conversation with me) – What can I say that hasn’t been said? You’re not attacking my argument, because the fact is, we’re in fundamental agreement about how bad and dangerous HIV and STIs are, and how it’s important to prevent them. You can’t even argue that fear is a better motivator than fact, because, hey – Women’s rights, the Holocaust, Civil rights, Stonewall, “DADT,” “DOMA” AND YOU’D BE WRONG. So you have to settle for picking at me, which just illustrates to people that you have no intelligent counter-argument. Want to learn about me? Awesome. I’ll address some of your nasty statements.

6a: Your post-facto editing to lend fallacious “support of the masses” to your argument – Actually, as far as I can see, everyone except for Jon, including myself, Seth Chase, Mario, and, well, everyone, thinks that sex without heed to the risks is a Bad Idea. So, we all agree. Except for Jon, who does not, and is perfectly entitled to his viewpoint. Great. Anything else?

6b: “Over-dramatized and over-intellectualized” – This, from the person who coined the phrase “cocktail-frozen timebomb.” I’m just following your lead. As to intellectualizing an argument, is there some other way to have a civil argument? Oh yeah, we could descend into name-calling…

6c, d, e, f, g: “What personal demons YOU may be wrestling with,” “What’s going on in their bedroom,” “you should know BETTER,” “academic,” etc. – My personal demons? I’m a survivor of childhood sexual trauma. I grew up with HERPES, imagine that life. Now imagine a few other things – and try to stay with me, because you’ve made it personal.

Imagine being 7, and not understanding why it sometimes feels like you’re shitting broken glass, but not telling anyone, because it’s not proper to talk about your toilet-time. Imagine being 9, and getting caught paying the same “game” with other kids your age, and being made to feel so horrible about it that you spend the next twenty-five years waking up to guilt. Imagine being 13, and one day while you’re sitting in class, the tumblers of your memory fall into place, and you relive those months of “playtime” seven years past, the smell of her vagina, the taste of unwashed dick, the cold, dark pantry you were shut in when you wouldn’t comply, and the fear that comes with it. Imagine it every time you see someone you’re attracted to.

Imagine telling adults, and nothing changing, because you’ve already been diagnosed – you’re hyperactive, depressed, dissociative, and “maladjusted,” because PTSD isn’t widely recognized. Imagine the constellations of pills that would be forced down your throat to try and treat those non-existent diagnoses. Imagine being 16, and knowing everything you need to know about how sex works EXCEPT that it’s supposed to be special the first time, because your first time was an act of unspeakable cruelty.

Imagine wasting decades of your life in denial of what happened to you, because it’s so impossible to wrap your head around that it seems like you’re remembering a dream. Imagine believing that because this happened to you, you might do it to a child yourself, because deep down, you feel that you’re the one with the problem. Imagine holding this secret, this grenade, in all of your relationships, not sure if you should tell someone right away so they can back out if it’s too much, or try and get through, and then explain when something happens, when a line is crossed and it’s too damned late to let your partner off the hook without them feeling like they did something awful to you – they just wanted to have more sex than you did.

Imagine being so stuck in self-hate that when a fellow survivor finally gets through to you, you look back on your life of missed opportunity and cry for weeks at what you’ve lost, then pull yourself up and start living, without that desire to self-destruct, without the shame, without guilt. Imagine seeing the real, horrible truth of evil in the world. Not a story, or a headline, but the monstrous TRUTH, right there in front of you. Imagine how you might react when you see someone spreading falsehood and fear, in a way that makes others feel as dirty when they make a choice to have sex as you do every single time.

Imagine those things, and you’ll have an idea of my “personal demons.” I have no problem sharing them – I’m PROUD to have survived my past. My “considerable language skills and tenacious grasp of the obvious” (thanks – I’m too often accused of being a poor communicator and having my head in the clouds) serve me very well in my personal life. They serve others, too, because I advocate for those who haven’t come as far. No one should suffer that life alone, and no one has to as long as those of us who’ve moved beyond our fear and guilt remember not to move AWAY from the places where people still dwell in it. We can’t trust anyone else to be there, because most people can only imagine that place. Rape, child abuse, famine, murder, violence, war, sickness, stigma, and death, they’re all together, in the place we know. We don’t have the luxury of imagination. Most people, they spend their lives building safe little walls around it, and praying to their God that they never have to see what all of us have already had our eyes opened to: God doesn’t answer your prayers for it to stop once He starts it. God just watches, and expects you to know that there was a reason. God makes bad things happen, and good people make themselves and each other stronger for it.

As to what’s going on in my bedroom – right now, it’s all about you, babe. We’re dancing the cha-cha. Still with me? Good.

I should know better? I think it’s been made pretty clear that I do know better than you. I know facts, and present them as evidence in support of my belief. You know feelings, and poorly, if your beliefs are any evidence. People don’t want to be afraid. They’ll rebel against their fear, and do stupid things in the process. They want to be informed, so they don’t feel like they’re doing something stupid in the first place.

“Academic” is not really pejorative. Too big a word for you? Over-intellectualized that some? I meant, “insulting.” You know, like if I were to call you a parrot, a flamboyant little thing that recites decades-old and amusing statements which may or may not have any relevance to truth. Or if I were to call you an insensitive flake of gutter-mud, long overdue in falling off the boot of Progress. You know, whichever.

I’m not an academic, but I appreciate that you acknowledge my education. My personal life is pretty well-sorted, considering how eventful it’s been. I do know a thing or two about how to help prevent undesirable outcomes, definitely as well or better than you. And my bedroom’s not so exciting; it’s a place where you get fucked, and that’s about it.

So, I now invite you to refute literally anything that I have said over this entire conversation. I hope you appreciate the time it took to address your false, injurious, and factually incorrect statements. It’s been entertaining for me – I know you probably thought I wasn’t going to take the bait, but there’s something you need to know about me: If there’s anything I like more than life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (fuck yeah, freedom!), it’s taking the bait.

For the life of me, I don’t understand why you’re so stuck on the idea that teaching people to fear something is somehow better than teaching them the truth about it. That’s all this is, you realize – the one point we disagree on. And since you literally asked for this, I don’t feel bad for being a little aggressive in my statements. Here I thought we were all, “soldiers in the same cultural battle,” but I guess that title’s reserved for people who roll over for you. That’s cool – you and I are as far from the same cultural battle as we can get, tovarisch.

  55. Don’t get me wrong, I watch some bareback porn. Every tops ultimate goal is to go bare with his significant subject, but that’s a different level in the relationship. I watch it, but I know better than to just shove cock up some butt hole. I don’t know who’s been fucking it or how many different loads have been sprayed in it. You think I want some strangers cum going up my urethra?? Fuck No!

  56. Obviously, that predates your assertion that we’re in agreement. We aren’t in agreement. You characterized an HIV-positive man as “unhealthy,” you vastly exaggerate the risk (to the point of absurdity), and you wait until the tide of conversation turns against you to modify – literally, go back and edit – your statements. Your way is not my way, even if we want the same things.

As far as you kept things civil, and didn’t direct attacks at me personally, I didn’t dislike you. I really did find your writing very persuasive, the style was good. I appreciate intelligent debate. But you couldn’t refrain from personal commentary, and your debate very quickly deteriorated. It has become “if we look at the bigger picture, my original statements are insignificant.” That’s not much of an argument. Now, tell me how your statements to Jon, your over-statements of risk, and other patently untrue things you’ve said are more helpful than saying, “Here’s the numbers. If you keep having unprotected sex, you will eventually contract HIV. Here’s what HIV does. Here’s what the medication that makes you ‘undetectable’ does. Here’s life with HIV. It’s a life that many people have no choice in leading – do you want it for yourself?”

Nevermind the REALLY big picture. Fear of HIV and lack of education about the facts of it has led to such amazing folk cures as (hey, here’s one of the reasons I might find your perspective offensive!) having sex with a virgin. Usually a child. My first memory of television is in 1983, watching a special where they announced the discovery of the virus that was causing HIV. I saw pictures of very sick people, images of death, and I realized that this was something bad that happened to people who didn’t deserve bad things. We benefit from life-knowledge of that time, the pictures of death, lost friends, and the fear that made us strong as a culture.

It’s the youth, who have grown up with HAART, top-flight science, and sophisticated methods of prevention, that are leading the resurgence in infection with HIV. Want to guess why? Because they don’t get the facts. They don’t know that if they get fucked by someone with HIV, in the absence of any other factors, they’ve got a one in seventy-two chance of catching that disease. They’re just told to wear a condom every time. Not why. “Why,” is important. “Why,” requires facts. HIV transmission rates slowed AS FACTS BECAME AVAILABLE. The utter terror of the first years of the epidemic didn’t stop anyone from fucking – it made sex riskier. Why would making people afraid of it help now?

  57. i am so sorry you were so horrifically abused. I now completely understand why you have overreacted and misinterpreted my comments about sexual safety and why you seem so obsessed with all those statistics. You tragically ARE a statistic, and i am so very sorry that your visceral reaction/ PTSD infused monologues concerning my viewpoints have obviously dredged up personal sadnesses that are light years away from the original topic…i really feel badly for what you have endured, and hope you find the peace, enlightenment and serenity to continue to be the intellectual dynamo you are while still embracing/accepting new and dynamic personalities into your life. Peace 😉

  58. –lol–be kind, hon…i’m home recovering from a cancer-like illness, and THIS has been my diversion today.

  59. again, sorry that any of my statements touched on dark moments from your past…i truly do not understand your contempt for my comments, but you are free and welcome to express them…what i said was obviously important enough to you to prompt “volumes” in reply..Maybe you can channel that passion to better use and write more about your personal survival story in forums for abuse survivors who can really benefit from your wisdom. Just a thought 😉

  60. Oh, please. The topic was “is fear a better motivator than truth?”

You have yet to explain why it is.

You’re the one who brought up my personal life; you can dismiss it and redirect it as much as you like, it’s right here:

“… wonder what personal demons that YOU may be wrestling with…”

” better advantage in your own personal life ”

You did ask for it. I know you weren’t expecting what I had to say, but you wanted to hear it. Now that you know one thing about my personal life, you think that’s enough to characterize me in any way, much less belittle me? You feel badly? Does anyone else interpret JMD’s last post as sympathetic? It comes off as condescending, sarcastic, and evasive to me.

  61. i am very intuitive…having read your overly dramatic misinterpretations of my comments, i KNEW there was a darker issue nagging at your thoughts. sadly, you confirmed that…i have no quarrel with you…we are BOTH free to have our opinions…i leave it to the blog audience to decide what is relevant in this discussion…i am sorry if ANY of our written interction was disturbing to you…that was not my intent…Be well and have a good night 😉

  62. I’ve written no more than you have on the matter. I just condensed the “volumes” into fewer posts.

Nothing you wrote touched on “dark moments from my past.” You expressed an interest in my “personal demons.” I let you know about one of them.

You asked me to itemize my disagreement with you. I did; there was a lot to itemize.

You don’t understand my contempt for your comments? Good – there is none. Fundamental disagreement, yes. A little pity? Yep. Irritation at having my personal life (which has nothing to do with HIV) poked at by someone? Oh, yes sir. But not contempt. You haven’t done anything to deserve that. You really haven’t done much of anything, aside from spend hours typing away, same as me.

Also, I’ve been stuck at home for a while, too. A deep neck infection, followed by serious respiratory illness. Ten days in critical condition, six of those spent breathing with assistance. Recovery is slow, and boring as hell. I’m glad you pulled through your own sickness. You’ve been my diversion today, too. Thanks for playing. 😉

  63. Feel better…you’re a smart cookie…the world deserves to hear more from you in a much better context…if this mountain of commentary about bareback porn/ sexual activity has made anyone think twice about engaging in risky sex, then we have done our job…Boy, have we done our job!–lol–

  64. JM they say birds of a feather flock 2gether well so do voices of reason and 4 that I THANK U my friend !

  65. Jon U might be 33 years old but based upon your comment U have a HELL of lot of growing up 2 do because if there was a lesson 2 be learned about having unprotected sex one would have thought that this would have been a teaching moment 4 you and what a PITY that it was not to be the case . I am glad that U R healthy and I truly hope that U stay that way but Jon PLEASE do not disrespect someone else life like someone else apparently did to you !

  66. When did the Manhunt Daily comment section turn so rancid? Tuck in the judgment, fellas. If you like the guy(s), great. But just coming on here to complain and argue on every post is too much. Geez.

  67. JMD…your first few words to Jon is,
‘…and i assume you’re contributing this fact out of “pride” for overshooting the life expectancy that lola predicted for this behavior?’

Reread your own posts, or edit them before/ after posting. Have the heart not to pass judgement on Jon. What is deemed “healthy” is decided upon Jon and his physician. When you ask someone

“in hindsight, were all those condomless orgasms worth compromising your health for?”

you’re passing your morales onto Jon’s behavior. You’re trying to make him see things through your own version of how orgasms should be reached. I am merely pointing out that these same words and arguments are used in HATE MONGERING that the Religious Right use against our gay community.

In fact, I’m going to paraphrase something from Matthew McConaughey’s speech in “A Time to Kill;”

Now imagine that Jon was JoAnn. Does it matter? Does she reflect in hindsight?

What we each do in the past is always more clear in hindsight.

Again, I am not condoning or condemning anyone’s sexual practices; condoms or no condoms. I will continue to point our Devin Totter’s and Dewitt’s First Amendment right to post the video. And I value the discourse we, and everyone on here, are having about the practices portrayed in the video.

I would suggest a more informative and less judgemental way, instead of using words like “absolutely repulsive (a la Numb),” but rather post a link to safe sex practice websites, and the consequences of such behavior. Then I can cap it off by posting a link to proven medical research to

    prepfacts.org

    aidsmap.com

  68. I’m sure his parents are so proud. Its one thing to have studios like Cockyboys who can portray beautiful sensual romantic porn. Yes it’s still actors doing porn but at least……

This is just the worst of some gay life & you have to wonder the psychological issues or past experiences that often lead to this behavior. Having said that, we must realize this range of behavior exists in the Straight community too. It just seems more accepted or even celebrated in some gay circles. Heck look at most people on MH. People incapable of putting a sentence together or even talking to you if you can’t fuck them bareback in the next 5 minutes.

Not every gay man is or wants to be monogamously married or have kids. But some of these guys are so sad & I wonder if they even think about their long term consequences. It would be interesting to see all these porn blogs followup with some of these guys 5-10 years later & see where they’re out. Will that 15 minutes of fame – well a little attention – be worth it. Seems every insecure kid wants to be in porn & rich pornographers are often too eager to exploit

  69. It’s not just manhunt advertising dollars but pretty much the behavior advocated by the actual social website. Most people aren’t looking for friends or dates and the owners are more than willing to profit off it

  70. It’s also not necessary to promote this. Whether it’s gay issues or this blog just wants to focus on gay sexuality or porn, there are plenty of choices made as to what to write about. But we also have a major studio doing a film about illegal human trafficking

  71. At what cost.. I’m glad you’re healthy but I dont think its behavior to be celebrated or advocated. 15 bareback partners who mo doubt are equally as promiscuous and reckless in their other partners. Everything LGBT aids activists worked so hard for easily being erased. I still remember 2 of my first gay role models encouraging me to be more promiscuous & telling me I wasn’t taking advantage or enjoying my gayness. Yet sadly both were dead before the age of 35

  72. I feel most sorry for honest men who think they’re in monogamous relationships, get tested and trust their partner when they decide for more intimacy by having intercourse without a condom. Then they find out that loving partner wasn’t all he said, cheated with anonymous people bareback, and then that guy who thought he was doing

  73. Is it that different from all these porn models who are celebrated for prostitution. Ironically I saw a show last night with women put in prison for advertising prostitution services online. I dont for the life of me understand how all these gay hookers blatantly flaunting and admitting their actions all over the net don’t suffer any legal consequences ever. It’s amazing to me all these ‘escory’, ‘rent’ sites

  74. I was going to make the comparison to heterosexual porn, but thought better of it yesterday. Now that you have, I’d be willing to say that it’s more prevalent, socially acceptable, and less “safe” in straight porn. What we’re starting to achieve is “porn parity,” where themes that heterosexual porn has been pretty openly exploiting for years are gaining widespread popularity in the gay community.

That said (and this has been asked before in this thread), do you really believe the backstories of these actors? Does anyone? Most of them fail the laugh test. Of course, we do live in a world where the following shows up on Manhunt’s Board:

“Any Eunuchs or Nullos out there? Anyone into cutting or have the cutting fantasy?”

So, maybe some people could be forgiven for buying the fiction. But these guys are actors. We’ll see that kid again, with a different scene-related background story, in some other work. Maybe he’ll be that sweet “boy next door,” back from college and ready to pay off those student loans. Maybe one of us will find him at a bar tonight, because he looks like he’s at least 21.

By the same logic that makes this guy an inherently bad person, every actor who’s ever portrayed Hitler should be rounded up for imprisonment and/or execution, right? Because there must be something seriously wrong with anyone who would voluntarily portray Hitler. We should protect the world from the everlasting Fourth Reich that those actors will inevitably lead.

It’s fiction, and I don’t think it’s fair for to make value judgments about actors based on the characters they portray.

  75. – still condescending – still a twat who won’t acknowledge you may have been wrong – feh

  76. Again, great point. We stigmatize behavior in porn that we gladly tolerate from other real people. How many of us take the time to send sharply-worded emails to guys online who express a preference for barebacking? Make no mistake: These are real people, their activities DO spread STIs, and we don’t need to entertain conjecture about what methods of protection they’re using.

It’s not the porn that produces this behavior, it’s our own double-standard that produces a market for the stuff. STIs and in particular HIV are responsible, paradoxically, for the fetishization of risk in bareback fucking. You can’t stigmatize a behavior without an increasing number of people seeking it out. Look at forced-sex fantasy porn, “revenge” porn, “barely legal” porn… All derive their essential hook from the idea that socially, this activity is generally considered wrong.

  77. I suggest a less corrosive hobby – uh, I would but you don’t take suggestions , don’t have any real interest in participating in a genuine discussion wherein both parties acknowledge the elements of the discussion. Take your own advice – this rancor isn’t good for your Qi. You be well and have good night. Prat!

  78. It comes down to what services you can advertise and where. The willingness of LEOs to entrap pursue people who aren’t directly advertising themselves as sex workers, but MIGHT take a few bucks for their company, which MIGHT lead to sex, also plays a role. And what cases DO occur are probably under-reported by the media, with social stigma used by the state to leverage plea agreements that might not be necessary to improve the defendant’s position were a case to go to trial. Suddenly your “prostitution” charge becomes “operating an unlicensed entertainment venue” or some ridiculous nonsense.

This problem could be neatly solved by regulation! We all get fucked by The Man, why can’t He let us choose our partners from a range of attractive, well-compensated, educated, licensed and properly-taxed individuals? Again, the stigma exists not because the activity itself is deplorable, but because we fail to make what could be a harmless activity, a capitalist enterprise, and a Constitutionally-protected expression of the rights to liberty and the pursuit of happiness, a part of accepted social conduct. Why is it necessary to legislate what we do with our bodies, save where harm to others or the self (in such a way that involves the public interest) is an intended consequence of our actions?

  79. I’ve been undetectable and barebacking for 21yrs and I can say yes, it is worth it to me. So please spare us the rhetorical question “IS IT WORTH IT” as though it proves your point, because for some of us, it doesn’t. I’d prefer to have had PreP available before I became sexually active but if I had to accept 21yrs of safe sex or take 21yrs of barebacking and staying undetectable on a very easy drug regimen, I’d take the barebacking.

  80. Wow that is a hot, hot story. I couldn’t disagree more with all the haters and naysayers on here. Wish I were that kid.

  81. has anyone taken into consideration that some of what this kid says and is said about him is purely said for fantasy purposes? I am not saying it is true or not, but it amazes me how literal some people can be when watching these scenes or reading an erotic story.

And, as far as his sexual practices, I feel he does no more damage to the LGBT community than someone who bitches about every member of the community that is not a cookie cutter version of who they are and/or what they like. The wonderful thing about fighting for equality is that we are fighting for everyone, even if their sexual practices are not what we would agree with. As long as the individuals are consenting adults they should be allowed to engage in the sexual activities which they enjoy. Just my two cents.

Finally, Manhunt does quite a bit to promote health within the community. i could be wrong, but this blog has the purpose of promoting the fantasy of the different hot men that are out there for us to enjoy. To my knowledge there is not a medical staff at manhunt. I think there is a very balanced approach to what is shown. If you do not like bareback sex, do not have it. Do not watch the videos. And if you are really upset by it, write the studio. All Dewitt and the other bloggers are doing is creating posts with the hottest, most up to date material they have…and they are doing a pretty good job of it….even if I do not personally like every post.

  82. Precisely. And while your “easy drug regimen” is not universally shared – side-effects range from “Rain on the Picnic,” to “Fucking Awful,” and you’re pretty fortunate – your life is ultimately no different than anyone else who has a chronic illness. Managing it is not as good as not having it in the first place, but it’s a lot better than dying, and if a commitment is made to follow through with treatment, the damage to someone’s quality of life is minimal, maybe even non-existent. You made an informed choice, and you live happily with the consequences.

And now I’m prying, so feel free not to answer, but do you make it a practice of telling other people about your serostatus and discussing mutual risk factors before sex?

  83. I discuss other sti’s and risk factors before sex. If I’m bottoming, I disclose being undetectable if asked, and if topping, I always disclose. Drugs are a turnoff so that eliminates, it often seems, about 1/3 of the guys out there.

  84. Drugs? Like PrEP? I mean, if you’re ripping lines of coke and cooking up some heroin while you’re discussing who’ll be fucking whom, I can see how that might be a turn-off. But asking someone to pop a pill so they’re safer doesn’t seem unreasonable at all. That’s disappointing, but once it catches on I’m sure that the level of tolerance will improve.

  85. i’m curious: are you having bareback sex exclusively with other admittedly HIV positive men, or if a man agrees to bareback with you, do you think “he knows the risk he’s taking” and NOT discuss your status with that partner?

  86. Thank you for sharing this…i’m still in shock that certain HIV positive men are willfully concealing their status (or lying by omission) and having bareback sex with any willing partner…I had an acquaintance 20 years ago who had full-blown AIDS and was allowing men to have risky sex with him WITHOUT disclosing his status. When i confronted him about this, he said “They should know the risks whether i reveal my status or not…They should know the chance they’re taking whether i tell them i have AIDS or not”…I ended tis friendship because he would take no accountability for endangering others, and i could not watch innocent men being lied to..The sad thing is, 2 decades later, many of these attitudes in our community still haven’t changed.

  87. wrong about WHAT? feeling that the gay community is being desensitized to the dangers of bareback sex and is becoming too complacent about the continued dangers of contracting HIV and other STDs thru risky sexual activity? i think not.

  88. –lol–nothing corrosive about a worthwhile discussion that gets people thinking productively about the issue of sexual safety…And THAT is what the topic of this forum is all about…No rancor in my heart for anyone here, even YOU, who seems to be the last dog under the dinner table fighting for a crumb of relevance amidst all this intense commentary–lol–i’m sorry, i couldn’t resist that…if you’re already convinced i’m such a “twat” I should at least go thru the motions to indulge your delusion, right? 😉

  89. Indeed, you’re making my point for me. Thanks – still condescending and also apparently unable to resist being victimized by your need to be right.

  90. I think he’s referring to your ongoing condescension, personal attacks, and characterization of anyone who disagrees with you as inherently wrong. It is corrosive, in the sense that it eats away at the basis of civility that should underlie any reasoned debate, making such debate impossible. But that’s just me.

  91. no, just defending my viewpoint, which is what anyone who is steadfast in their convictions would do.

  92. i think you and Bikron are the SAME person–lol–and i am not attacking anybody…i am just defending my right to my own opinion…surely you are perceptive enough to realize that.

  93. I don’t need straw-men to bolster my arguments, thanks. But you have once again shown that your faculties for debate are roughly equivalent to that of a 12-year-old. Must suck to be your age, and not have matured.

  94. Bikon, got a digital camera or something? Obviously this fool needs some proof that we’re different people.

Alternatively, we could just let the poor, tired old man rant on all by his lonesome.

  95. well, if you insist on lowering yourself to this kind of childish sniping, you’re really gonna erode what l’il the respect for your perceived intellect that i had for you…and your “straw man” is typing his comments simultaneously as you type yours, or so must trusty MAC shows me…maybe that is your shadow from your childhood, and that is how he shows himself now…

  96. Funny thing is, my computer showed you both typing at the same time, too. Are YOU Bikon7?

  97. And actually, it doesn’t show you who’s typing, it just says “one other person.” How could I type into two text fields simultaneously? Even if I had two computers, I’d need four arms.

  98. Maybe this is like “Fight Club”, and i’m really the sexy, passionate ‘alpha’ personality to the alternative T_I_S and Bikron personalities, and we’re using this forum to pathetically fight for supremacy in the same being…Yeah, that’s gotta be it!–LMAO–

  99. I hear ya, Memphis ( love that name). My objection stems from over-critical judgement of anothers choice. Quite a few reasonable sorts have reminded that this is all very probably a tempest in a tea-pot and (likely) wholly fiction. Me worried ’bout anothers cum goin’ up my urethra? Meh, I’ve long since grown out of the place where I would find myself in that sitch, but the idea of it doesn’t particularly give me the willies.

  100. TIS you have a firm grasp. Overly judgmental coupled with a patently false, nay nakedly deceptive purrings of bon homie, sprinklings of ‘hon’ etc. The indignant demand to itemize what you take issue with and then not have intellectual honesty to rebut or concede and instead assert, ‘ I’m very intuitive -‘ ‘Clearly the fault is not with my choice of words, it’s what is in your background which must-needs make you sensitive’. Feh – I know the type – always make my gorge rise.

  101. Yes – credit that amazing intuition and my even more amazing skill at penning thoughts in such distinctively different ‘voices’. I see you more and more clearly – it’s your ego. Tell me again – how’s that workin’ out for ya? served you well? clearly!

  102. Shhh… Can’t you let the man think he’s important enough to me that I use a computer with a separate email and IP address JUST to mess with him on Manhunt Daily? It’s probably the only time in years someone’s paid more attention to him than a polite, “excuse me,” when he’s being passed by in favor of less outwardly delusional/paranoid people.

Just give him that much. Besides, it’ll kill him if we stop. This is like porn for people like him. We are effectively spit-roasting the guy. The only way to improve this scene is to “Eiffel Tower,” pull out, and leave him all alone while the camera fades out.

  103. –lol–i really don’t know what makes you two (or should it be ONE?) “glasses of sour milk” tick, but it has certainly been intriguing watching as your personal dislike and ire for me has taken this discussion soooooooo far off topic, it’s now in another dimension…i really have nothing against either of you other than wondering why two seemingly articulate and educated guys would waste so much time trying to snipe at a stranger over the most foolish points in a fairly straight forward dialogue about risk-awareness in bareback gay sex…i’m really just glad to know that you ultimately have “each other” to lean on, even if the only time you truly”see”each other is when you look in the mirror.

  104. Your jokes about childhood sexual trauma are so topical and classy.

I’ll let “other me” deal with you from now on, provided I’m … he’s … we’re willing to continue sinking to your level.

  105. Love it – again deflection & inability to accept what was said. To stay in your metaphor – I will give it to you, you ARE bullet-proof in your perfect ability to simultaneously demand an explanation and then ignore it! You call it sniping – it looks like returning fire to me. I’ll also have to commend you on your command of the left-handed compliment – I bet you’re real joy to live with. Oh wait, no – Let me guess – share your life with a cat – but only one. You have to dominate even that poor beast. You probably are right – TIS and I quite probably do share one trait – the fortitude to challenge stupid assertions when presented as fact. But hey – Tits up, chico! Shows every night at 8 10, I’m here all week!

  106. Thank you for further ‘enlightening’ me, Mr. Truth_In_Suspicion….you and your alter-ego really are a trip!–lol–

  107. Someone used an analogy comparing unprotected sex to driving fast, in defending practices depicted and described in this post. I drive fast all the time. My car has six airbags, carbon-ceramic brakes, safety glass, crumple zones, traction control and safety belts. A crash likely won’t kill me. Safer sex is like driving a Range Rover in a sea of 1948 Citroen 2CVs. Bareback sex is like riding a motorcycle, un-helmeted at 100 in the rain. Except the hospital won’t want your organs when you die.

Personally, I think this is all fantasy. Except when it isn’t. On another site, I corresponded with an adorable 18 year old twink about 70 miles away. I ended up not meeting him, and when I checked back at his profile a few months later he had a party listing up (thus giving away which site I mean), where he was holding a “conversion party”. The fiendish Paul Morris of treasure Island Media offers faux-arty and lame explanations for his fetishization of HIV / AIDS, but I’m starting to find that what all of the bareback porn companies do is nearly as evil. “It’s all fantasy!” That’s what we all say. But we can’t say that no teens are looking at this stuff and getting the worst sort of ideas in their heads. Am I condemning people who fuck around bareback? Not as much, as long as they remind the young members of our community that they should want to play safe. The porn companies however are very much to blame, as is our poor level of sexual education, especially in conservative states.

  108. “But we can’t say that no teens are looking at this stuff and getting the worst sort of ideas in their heads.” EXACTLY! Thank you for bringing some much needed social relevance (and fresh wisdom) back to this forum.

  109. Exactly! Just like violent videogames influence kids into being mass murders, just like uncensored boobs in movies influence kids into being sex addicts, just like Peter Pan influences kids into jumping out third story windows because they can fly if they believe hard enough.

Fantasy kills! We need to remove all traces of it from the world.

  110. Fantasy does NOT kill, but the bareback websites that are presenting the “fiction” of completely irresponsible, random raw fucking should have clear and distinct disclaimers that encourage safety & responsibility in sexual play, and remind their potentially impressionable audience that proper precautions were undertaken (with the compliant medical testings) before the scene was shot. The hardcore fetish site “Bound Gods” does this all the time. They remind their audience that the participants are ACTORS and that completely CONSENSUAL sex is occurring even though the scene may show fictional “force”…See? SAFE ‘fantasy’ is maintained, while informing the public that the actions depicted are not necessarily legal or socially acceptable behaviors…Bareback websites like Treasure island Media, Sketchy Sex & Deviant Otter don’t feature those disclaimers responsibly enough, if at all…if you don’t think that young gay men wouldn’t emulate this behavior in real life, think again…We live in a world of VERY precocious and easily-influenced youth…Just look at the millions of copycat videos on Youtube of teens and 20somethings snorting/swallowing cinnamon & hot pepper as well as emulating any number of ‘Jackass” style stunts to dangerous consequences, and you’ll see what i mean…i believe in free speech & free artistic expression, but these bareback sites owe their audience a more thoughtful & responsible framework to view their content from…Let’s face it: indiscriminate barebacking with partners of questionable health should never be presented as ‘sexy’ or ‘chic’…Would you really want YOUR teenagers to ‘copycat’ THAT?

  111. Exactly! Disclaimers need to be present with everything! Grand Theft Auto needs a disclaimer to pop up every time you kill a hooker or steal a car that this is not appropriate behavior and should not be copied. Fast and Furious needs a disclaimer to pop up everytime they perform a stunt that this is not appropriate behavior and should not be copied. Disney land needs a disclaimer on every character saying that these are actors so kids don’t suspend their disbelief and become deluded in a fantasy world.

Fantasy does NOT kill! Lack of disclaimers everywhere DOES kill!

  112. i guess you won’t fully understand what i’m saying until YOU are a parent, or you have a friend/loved one who has a sexual ‘slip’ and endangers their health…People SHOULD use common sense in all these matters, but obviously, some do not…The bareback disclaimers are ultimately about as effective a deterrent to risky behavior as the cancer warnings on cigarette boxes are to the habits of hardcore smokers…That doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be there. Unfortunately, some people NEED to be reminded what the risks of their behaviors are and SHOWN alternative ways to have healthier experiences. The rest is ultimately up to THEM.

  113. I understand exactly what YOU are saying! >:(
People need disclaimers on EVERYTHING! People need warnings to inform them on what to do, how to act, and when to do things. If everything would come with a warning label and a link to useful information, then WE as parents can stop bothering with the daunting task of talking with OUR children EVERY day about important things like violence, sex, and decency. The world needs to conform to the values WE believe in so WE can finally get rid of this DISGUSTING habit called “barebacking”. It’s so UNHEALTHY and should never practiced. EVER! PERIOD!

  114. Let’s try this: consider for a moment the “theory” that barebacking should be practiced by healthy consenting adults who know their current HIV/STD status and are either in a committed monogamous relationship or are totally aware of the possible risks and are secure enough in each other’s health statuses to share the ‘ultimate’ intimacy…Doesn’t THAT sound like healthy, responsible and satisfying sexual behavior to you, given the unpredictable environment of sexual infections/diseases that we are faced with? As for parenting, obviously not all families are as loving, wise and open to “lifestyle strategizing” with their children as we would all hope. Health & safety disclaimers at the beginning of high-risk, bareback sex videos is a small concession to the greater battle against ignorance and apathy that has caused the surge in new HiV infections (amongst younger gay men) that we are seeing today.

  115. Then you are not very smart. I pity you if your nut is more valuable than your life, I really do. I get that you look back on your life and want to have no regrets, but don’t be ridiculous.

  116. Im not either way on this but your answer of “don’t shoot the messenger” does not fit in this instance. You are the one promoting the video. You are the one promoting the action. If you’re gonna post it, grow a pair and take responsibility.

  117. Sorry, but barebacking is not necessarily all that unsafe. Poz men with no measurable viral loads don’t transmit the virus and Truvada is 99% effective in preventing HIV infection. Things are not the same as they were in 1990. Some of the commenters here are more interested in ineffective moralizing and attempts to shame other gay men than they are in actual effective HIV prevention. Face it, lots of guys can’t or won’t use condoms consistently. All your bellyaching and complaining doesn’t change that. We have new strategies that actually work.

  118. A truly disgusting show. This fool kid taking 15 loads of raw semen into his rectum, I just hope the little fellow lives to see age 25! One load of raw jiz is dangerous enough, 15 donors, well, that’s called suicidal behavior. As for our little friend who has been barebacking for 21 years and is “undetectable”, well good for you. Undetectable means the virus cannot be detected in the BLOOD. Says nothing about lymph glands, brain tissue, and most importantly, testes/prostate/SEMEN! Undetectable is not synonymous with not present. 21 years of spreading the good word. Just great. Where is Sarah Palin when we need her?

  119. Bareback sex is the only way to go. Just ask any Catholic Priest and alter boy team

  120. I was out of town last week and failed miserably at my porn watching. I have caught up and felt the need to chime in. I just read a few of the postings below and I am disappointed at the judgmental tone. I usually keep any negativity regarding the postings to myself (Dewitt I don’t always agree with your picks of what men you think are really hot, lol) but the sermonizing and demonizing of those against bareback porn has reached a ridiculous level. Guys, really, if you don’t like it than don’t log on to it!

  121. Define “healthy” when you’re living on pills.
I don’t like when people offend HIV positive guys, but when I read comments like yours that looks like you don’t give a fuck about risks really makes me believe that there are limits after which discrimination is due.
