Due to their inexplicable hotness, it's easy to forget that the rugby players in the Dieux du Stade calendar are more than just models. And if former Stade Français coach Ewen McKenzie is telling the truth, there might be a reason for that. McKenzie claims that club president Max Guazzini "could recruit one player over another just because he has a better look for the calendar."
Guazzini has dismissed this accusation and responded that "everything he said was rubbish", but does anyone else think he's lying to save his reputation? I guess we'll all know the truth when the 2011 calendar includes a token ugly dude.
