Oops! Madonna's done it again. The "Like A Virgin" singer has pissed off religious groups yet again by "insulting" the original virgin–Mary, the Mother of God. The posters for the August 15th stop of Madge's Sticky and Sweet tour apparently read "There's no room for two queens in this country!"
What's the big deal? Well, the show just happens to fall on the same day as the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Poland, a national holiday in which "hundreds of thousands of pilgrims arrive at the Our Lady of Czestochowa shrine at Jasna Gora after weeks of pilgrimages from all around the country." Are they overreacting or is Ms. Ciccone being entirely disrespectful?

Regardless of a person’s religion – whether it be Catholic, Jewish, Islamic, Hindu etc. It is in bad taste and shows lack of respect towards members of that faith by making any joke in that regard. If, as the blog says there are thousands that make pilgrimages to that shrine chances are that some are Maddonna fans- why take the risk of alienating some of the more devout catholic fans by making an insensitive declaration such as that.
Religious people need to dispense with the notion that the rest of the world needs to take their voodoo as seriously as they do. Honestly, I am all for people having their personal religion if it improves their lives, but bullying other people into walking on egg shells around their religion is ridiculous.
I go to a Catholic college and they’re easily one of the best at making themselves seemed victimized when no actual harm has been done to them. “Another child molestation case? Why are they persecuting the Catholic church like this?!”

Madonnas ego is so big, she obviously thinks a whole lot of herslef. I dont believe people should go on a pilgrimige in the name of Jesus Mother is she is not God, shes a uman being like the rest of us and should not be exhaulted at all. Im sure there will be plenty enough room for Madonna after where shes headed. Shes vile and wicked.
