Congratulations to these two shirtless dudes from Dallas! Whoever they are, they’re the winners of Manhunt‘s Hottest Halloween Costume Contest. After pulling in nearly a quarter of the total votes, they’ll celebrate their victory with $500 for a party at Ilume.
While some contestants didn’t get any love from our readers, there were a few others who put up a strong fight! An honorable mention goes out to our runner-up from San Francisco, whose Mickey Mouse ears brought him dangerously close to defeating our winners.
Since this is our first annual contest, we’d love to hear your feedback on the process! Should we have selected less contestants from each city? Was it fair to let readers vote multiple times? Chime in with your thoughts in the comments section.

Its a great idea for a contest but show some quality control in selecting the pictures. The third and fifth places show that we wont just vote for the shirtless wonders but those guy won as there was so little competition . Great to see the LA guys come 5th as they were the ones I voted for.

The reason the shirtless guys won is because the contest was called “hottest costume”, not “most creative” or “gayest” or “most boner reducing”…..

I voted for number 5 since they actually dressed up as something, rather than finding a way to walk around half naked. But kudos to number 3 for the amount of time it took to make that get up.

I said it during the voting and will say it again, bare chests do not a costume make….even Superman had cute tights and a cape. There were some great costumes in there, and there were a few hot looking guys, unfortunately the hot guys and the costumes were not the same people. Nakedness and bodies won on Manhunt…we gays are so unpredictable, huh?
Costume Contest?
The men with the ripped adbs had on more mascara than the drag queen. Some type of ccostume. The only costumes I saw were the drag queen and the supermen!

Half of these arent even customes. What a joke. You can see that at any MH sponsored party. They shouldnt of even been listed as a contestant.
Yea, I missed that “hottest” part in the title too when I was voting. I thought we were voting on best costume and so I thought the ones that won (and 2nd & 4th) were the lamest costumes because there really isn’t much costume to it…it’s just their going out gig wear. That being said, the ones that won are clearly the sexiest hands-down. It was a bit confusing because it’s hard to compare them to say the 3rd place finisher (which is awesome…but not HOT). Maybe you should not allow multiple voting but do use check boxes for everyone to vote for ALL the ones they like in one vote. Oh and either pick all great COSTUMES or all hot guys in outfits next time just to keep it clear.

should of just had seperate categories, best body, creative costume, and some other costume focused ones so as said, someone with a good costume wouldn’t be trampled over a light makeup job on a guy showing off his abs…
