See how long you can stand the
slurping/slapping/squishing
sounds before you turn it off!
Misophonia is a heightened sensitivity to certain sounds or sound patterns. As Web MD puts it:
Misophonia, also known as selective sound sensitivity syndrome, starts with a trigger. It’s often an oral sound — the noise someone makes when they eat, breathe, chew, yawn, or whistle. Sometimes a small repetitive motion is the cause — someone fidgets, jostles you, or wiggles their foot.
I realize this sounds like one of those made up rich people disorders like Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (which is what I use to justify how many naps I take per day), but it’s apparently real, and this new clip from UK Naked Men will help you determine if you have it! Fun!
Now, if you’re anything like me, you really tried to watch this, but had to at least mute it about 30 seconds in. Again to Web MD:
If you have a mild reaction, you might feel:
Anxious
Uncomfortable
The urge to flee
Disgust
If your response is more severe, the sound in question might cause:
Rage
Anger
Hatred
Panic
Fear
Emotional distress
A desire to kill or stop whatever is making the noise
Skin crawling
Suicidal thoughts
I sort of worked my way through this one from Uncomfortable to Disgust to Rage and then a desire to mute the clip. So my sensitivity might not be as bad as I thought, but definitely could not listen to all that slapping and slurping for more than a handful of seconds at a time.
I don’t usually complain so much about porn, but since I’m on a roll: I hate that couch, I don’t wanna see that dude smell that shoe anymore, and I feel tricked by these pics:
Cause those pics made it seem like that big thick dick on the dude with the shoe in his mouth was gonna get a lot more screen time, and it did NOT. I’ll circle back around to UK Naked Men when they do a solo with James Huck and his uncut masterpiece.
