There’s a new Goldfrapp song, and it’s fucking beautiful. “Yellow Halo”, which will appear on the duo’s upcoming Singles album, made its debut yesterday afternoon. Lead vocalist Alison Goldfrapp tweeted the following: “There is a little film we made while in South America all shot on iPhone ‘Yellow Halo’ is the song x Lisa Gunning made the little film to ‘Yellow Halo’ xxx thanks Lisa! Xxx”
We’re not sure about all the “XXX”s thrown in there, but maybe she’s trying to tell us the song’s as good as porn? Because it is. Despite the fact that we’re pissed they neglected t0 include “Alive” on the singles collection’s tracklist, we’re willing to forgive them if they keep making music like this.
