In evolving with the times and tapping into our ever-changing audience, we will be launching a new and improved Manhunt Daily very shortly. We want to take the time to evaluate what our readers want in order to provide the best experience from this entertaining and shareable blog.
Since this LGBT news / Manhunt member showcase / porn review / interview forum is for you, let us know what YOU would like to see & read. Comment on this post with what you liked about the legacy of Manhunt Daily, what you hated, what you want in a new blog, what you certainly don’t want, etc. We’ll do our best to make (most) everyone happy.
Also, we previously mentioned some other blogs coming up for Jack’d and OLB Media, but you’ll just have to stand by for now (it will be worth the wait though).

While I liked what was going on with this blog prior to this, I can’t think of anything I’d do differently. Maybe guest bloggers. Maybe some celebrity bloggers, whether they’re guests or semi-regular. I liked that I found new porn through this, to be honest.
What I know that I don’t want to see is a blog that glorifies one specific body type. I like that not every video is everyone’s cup of tea. I’d like to see a wider range of diversity: more bears, more men of color, more trans, more bisexuality. Granted, there will always be the sound of fapping over the Bel Ami set or the Falcon guys, but there are as many body types and tastes out there as there are fans out there.
Also, are you asking about just the porn side? Because there are a lot more facets to the gay/bi/trans male community than just the sex side. There are more tabs across the top of the page than just porn. I’d love to see them all get used, maybe see new ones added. I’d love to see more social issues being presented.

This has been one of my favorite sites because of Dewitt. Sometimes more fun than the actual Manhunt.net site. I welcome any changes and additional talent that is now running this site.
Just a list of MY thoughts and suggestions:
– Sex product reviews
– Adult fan fiction & art
– Polls / Questions
– Link us to different porn blog discussions. Just cite them.
– Sometimes my brain needs more stimulation rather than my dick so consider serious topics such relationships, sex education, Manhunt/Jack’d profile etiquette, problems within the adult industry, any current issues really.
– Diversity is key. Try to cater to women, younger men, older men, straight men, bicurious men, transgender men and bisexual men (e.g., Bi The Way) through different types of posts. Various porn studios are welcomed. I love getting introduced to new porn models and studios. Try to feature men of different ages, ethnicities and body types. The previous blogger achieved this. I know that for sure because sometimes I would only glance at certain posts because they were not my personal preference or I can see other readers complaining about it in the comment section…>_< yes I'm talking about YOU. Although I did complain about a certain site that was portraying the gang-rape scenario. Just not my cup of tea. Neither is fisting gifs or golden showers. lol
– Just show that you take pride in your writing on Manhunt Daily. You will earn more admirers, as well as haters, that way.

I say keeping going on the established format. Porn reviews, interviews, hot guys, featured members, etc., and keep it all in a regular rotation. Well I’m absolutely bummed that Dewitt left. I think he was very funny with a biting dry humor and intelligence. Yes, he rubbed some people wrong but if you looked deeper into it, there was always a reason (such as the trolls who feel compelled to stop by every day and whine about every post…who needs them?!) I like the format as is but I also like CockConqueror’s suggest for sex product reviews (or even just sexy products…underwear, toys, lubes, etc). I’m a big fan of “The Ten” or any post that lets me vote on something so more of that.
I am not however in favor of posts featuring members. That’s what profiles on Manhunt are for. Who cares about them? We don’t know them. And when someone’s post goes up, rest assured these bitches who have the false sense of entitlement that every post should be for them, they will tear them apart. People say some MEAN, MEAN things on here about celebrities and porn stars (who open themselves up to that by moving into the public eye) but a member on Manhunt doesn’t sign up for that. Look back through the previous posts on members and you’ll see what I mean. I’m sure they’re great guys but hardly conversation pieces.

Fewer posts about newly released porn movies. I realize that you guys probably make a lot of money off of those sponsorships, but I can easily just go to that porn website if that’s what I wanted. I come to sites like this to see amateur stuff, regular guys who go unnoticed, and see things I may have missed. I’m not interested in another Sean Cody video featuring the same men. They’re hot, and it’s nice to watch, but that’s not why I visit this site.

I do thoroughly enjoy the blog. If I were to make suggestions on additions I would like to see:
-More men of color
-Fan fiction. guys in tv shows, movies, celebrities, superheroes.
-More stories of MH members and their hookups.
-Spotlights on gay artists and their projects. (musicians, actors, dancers, all of them)
-Honest reviews on projects with LGBTQ involvement. (Movies, music, books, etc…)
But seriously. I miss the music posts. Even if the song or video was shitty, At least I knew it existed.

Definitely :). I know of a few LGBT people with disabilities that i’ve met over the years. It’s hard for disabled people to get the right kind of exposure within any community but the LGBT crowd seems harder. I’ve been wheelchair bound myself my whole life but that doesn’t mean that i shouldn’t be getting out there to get the most out of life :). Should probably go to Mardi Graas one of these days 🙂

I have enjoyed this blog a lot for some time now. I like the the non porn-related posts just as much, including the semi-satirical looks at current events as well as any news or photo sets from gay/porn events across the country. I would love to see multiple bloggers, guest blogs, and a continuation of the news aspect of the blog in addition to the actual pornographic posts, which are fantastic as well!

So, can we safely believe this is going to monthly format?
I’ve read quite a few blogs over the years and one thing that has come to mind is that real life often intrudes, making it difficult for the blogger to update as frequently as their readers may like.
What if you were to split the blog among 3-5 different writers, one could be a Porn blogger, another about society and politics that impact the GLBTQ community and another that blogs about hookups (theirs or other MH members) that take place through the different apps that sponsor the site.
If each blogger were to have a set publication schedule, it would give you the flexibility to keep interest among readers and also avoid a complete shutdown if an individual blogger decides to part ways. Something like a 2x a week schedule for porn releases, 1x for social/political stuff and 2x for MH/Jack’d hookup stories and the remaining days for either a break or more general contributions would help with fresh content and broader readership.
