RuPaul’s Drag Race: Rocker Chicks

RuPaul's Drag Race - Rocker Chicks, episode 6, episode six, season two

Get ready to rock out with your cock out, because it's time for another dose of RuPaul's Drag Race. In this week's episode, the seven remaining girls churned out live performances of RuPaul's "LadyBoy" while putting on their best "rocker chick" face. Terri Nunn of Berlin provided some coaching and the sexy Henry Rollins stood in as a guest judge.

We're still recovering from this week's elimination. Two of our favorite queens were forced to lip-synch for their lives, leaving us with no choice but to say goodbye to one of them. But it wasn't all gloom and doom! This episode also had plenty of fun moments, and we can't wait until next week to see what happens next.

AND NUMBER ONE THIS WEEK…

Rocker-Jessica Wild, RuPaul's Drag Race

1. JESSICA WILD (LW – 6): With great confidence, I can say that the "best woman" won this week. Jessica channeled her inner Muppet rock star and turned out a show-stopping performance. Though she may not be the prettiest of the competitors, she's got a face that's impossible to forget. Could she be this season's winner? We're almost convinced.

Rocker-Pandora Boxx, RuPaul's Drag Race

2. PANDORA BOXX (LW – 2): It was extremely fitting that Pandora Boxx was deemed the Susan Lucci of this competition. Since the beginning, she's turned out consistently outstanding performances in every challenge, but she's never managed to excel beyond the number two position. We're rooting for her to take it up a notch!

Rocker-Raven, RuPaul's Drag Race

3. RAVEN (LW – 1): While I loved that Raven broke out the ad-libs, I couldn't get past the fact that she kept on saying, "You can't have this ladygirl". Um, isn't the song called "LadyBoy"? We're going to assume that her ass distracted the judges from calling attention to this discrepancy.

Rocker-Tatianna, RuPaul's Drag Race

4. TATIANNA (LW – 7): So I've started watching Untucked, and I have to say that Raven was totally justified in criticizing Tatianna's outfit. Stretch pants and a tank top? You know she'd be getting shit for that if she didn't have such a rockin' body. With that said, it was admirable that she overcame her fear of singing. Hell, she worked the shit out of that crowd!

Rocker-Jujubee, RuPaul's Drag Race

5. JUJUBEE (LW – 3): Everyone's human, and we don't love Juju any less for not being on her best game for this challenge. Thankfully, the judges let her stay on board, which may have had something to do with her fantastic lip-synch to "Black Velvet". Turn up the heat, girl! We don't want to see you going home any time soon.

Rocker-TyraSanchez, RuPaul's Drag Race

6. TYRA SANCHEZ (LW – 4): What was that? Tyra's entire look was fierce, but it was a blatant rip-off of Sasha Fierce. She even admitted backstage that some of her moves were stolen from Ms. Knowles. Um, why don't you quit being a drag queen, take up some voice lessons and get a job as a Beyonce impersonator? Because emulating her in every step of this competition isn't working anymore! Girl, you needed immunity this week.

Rocker-Sahara, RuPaul's Drag Race

GONE… SAHARA DAVENPORT (LW – 5): Alas, we knew this day would eventually come, but it doesn't make it less sad. Ridding ourselves of Morgan and Sonique didn't really tug at our heartstrings, yet Sahara's departure put a few tears in our eyes. She's a dignified queen, but "dignified" doesn't win this competition. We wish her well in her future endeavors!

  1. Henry Rollins is sooooo hot. Can’t get the Liar video out of my head. Great choice for the guest judge. Jessica was in her element. There’s a TV appearance with Gloria Trevi on YouTube that she rocks kinda same style.

  2. 6th: Tatianna
    5th: Jessica Wild
    4th: Jujubee
    3rd: Pandora Boxx
    Runner-Up: Raven
    Winner: Tyra
^ Hopefully I’m wrong but that’s what it’s shaping up to look like. Or Pandora Boxx being the runner-up considering that’s all shes been throughout the whole competition.
Last night, I loved Tatiannas rock aesthetic. Sure if she didn’t have that body she wouldn’t have be able to pull it off. Fact of the matter is, she does and she looked mighty fine! Better then Raven anyway. I still can’t get over the fact Raven had the balls to criticize Tatiannas body the way that she did. I mean, really? How about looking in the mirror first before you criticize other peoples bodies and appearance.
Pandora should have won last nights challenge, Jessica Wilds performance was good but from what we were shown Pandora had that challenge in the bag.

  3. I agree. Raven is a nasty cunt! I like Tatianna, but she and Juju need to step it up next week or they are going to get cut in the next few weeks.
I also agree Tyra is Tyrasome. She’s spoiled, entitled and very immature.
I really do admire Pandora and Jessica for staying out of most of the drama and hope Pandora takes the crown. She is consistent, funny and is extremely likable. I think next week is going to be her week. Oh! EW.com said that in two weeks the challenge will be making Silverdaddies into drag mothers with Cloris Leachman and Debbie Reynolds as judges! I can’t wait!

  4. I am hoping that RuPaul wakes up and gets Tyra off there QUICKLY! She is tired, tired, tired, and she is a terrible female illusionist. That is not Beyonce, because Ms. Beyonce does not give that sloppy of a performance. I am starting to like Pandora. Kind of DQ that I wouldn’t mind seeing perform. She is funny and I like that in a DQ.
