The fact is (and it is factual, check the FBI stats) that there is a disproportionate amount of black men in prison/jail than white men. Thus, if a group of people make up only 20% of a general population, but make up roughly half the prison population, than yes,it IS racist and offensive.

I do tend to go with the knee jerk reaction (as much as I hate to admit) when it comes to perceived bigotry. I still hate the way most porn seems to portray black guys as “thugs” or “ghetto”, however.
