Check his birth certificate, Patrick Schwarzenegger is legal! He’s the son of…well, guess and Maria Shriver. Despite his parents’ marriage exploding very publicly (the former governor of California had a baby with the maid at the same time as having brother Christopher with Maria, it was very tasteful), Patrick has embarked on a career as a male model. Here’s his campaign for Hudson Jeans. He advises us via narration that we should “choose the freedoms others take for granted” in an accompanying short. We know it’s ad copy that he didn’t write but Queerty has a point when they point out the irony. Governor Dad vetoed gays receiving marriage rights. Twice. Uh huh.
Do think Patrick will go on to a long and successful career as a spokesface and body, or is he just coasting on his name?

in my book, the young man all ready has it all over his father. I don’t know how much of what he said was just lip service and how much he believed himself but I liked hearing it come out of his mouth. He gets a thumbs up from me. Whether he is straight or gay – his message should go for every man, woman, and child. CHOOSE WHO YOU ARE!! I like it.
