It's funny that Tim Burton's latest film is called Alice In Wonderland, because there's so little "Alice" in the second promotional trailer that I'm pretty sure they should have called this movie Look, It's Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter Being Zany Again (Also Anne Hathaway Is In This Movie). I guess that title was too long?

All jokes aside, I'm incredibly pumped to see this movie. It looks so good that I might even go and see it in 3-D. You know how much I love things flying at my face! Am I the only one who's excited about this? Because I'd really love a date to the theater. And if the movie doesn't live up to our expectations, we can take out our frustrations on one another afterwards…

  1. It is a sequel to the Carroll stories, yes, with some artistic liberties (for example, they seem to have made the Red Queen and the Queen of Hearts the same character).
I do want to see this. I’ve always enjoyed the Alice stories, and it seems like an ideal world for Tim Burton’s mind to explore.

  2. Its more of a take on “Through the Looking Glass” which was the followup to “Alice in Wonderland”. “Through the Looking Glass” had the Red and White Queen, and a few other characters. But yes, a few liberties and mix of the two. I’m also excited to see it, and can’t wait.

  3. Loved it, only thing I’m excited about in this movie is Anne Hathaway as the White Queen.
Been a fan of hers for quite sometime now. Happy that she’s beginning to be seen as a serious actor/actress now after Rachel Getting Married.
