MUST WATCH: Island House’s Andrew Christian Parody Is Utterly Genius

Last week, Randy Blue released a hilarious video entitled “Top 10 Overused Gay Porn Scenarios“, which appeared to throw subtle (or not so subtle) shade toward Hot House, Bait Bus, Maverick Men, Straight Fraternity, Sketchy Sex and occasionally cheesy plot-driven sites like MEN.COM. It was a spot-on parody, and I loved it so much that I immediately placed in on the Manhunt Daily homepage’s “featured video” spot. Once you’re done with that, redirect your attention to the latest clip from clothing-optional Key West resort Island House. They recreate popular themes from Andrew Christian‘s ever-growing library of slutty promotional videos without missing a single beat. You’ve got the body paint from “GLOW“, the oft-repeated “Car Wash” concept, the sloppy drag queens adding comic relief, the overtly sexual frolicking on the beach and an homage to RuPaul‘s twerk-tastic “Peanut Butter” video.

There’s nothing mean or catty about their presentation. They merely recast the roles in a body-positive light, dousing it all in a heavy dose of humor. There were jokes I didn’t even catch the first time through, so pay close attention to what’s going on! This is nothing short of pure genius. I’d venture to say it’s one of the smartest, funniest videos released by a gay brand all year.
