New Yorker fabulous types such as Lady Gaga, Marc Jacobs, Mark Ronson and Jake Shears (looking sexy – seriously, he’s making us look good as a people) appear in amusing little photographic vignettes paying homage to day-to-day life in the Apple.
Chloe Sevigny looks like an indie waxwork as she prices cheap sunglasses. Lady Bunny vapidly drags her way through a subway turnstile. And Debbie Harry is just Debbie Harry, an icon of Lower East Side cool who has no right looking like that at 65. Well, Testino’s mouse surely clicked on the Photoshop icon at some point here but still…

So what, Debbie Harry set the bar, few have even come close to her versatility, style, charm let alone her humility. Just saw her at Nokia in NYC and she rocked. PhotoShop, doctors, trainers no worries – if it’s not there to begin with, ain’t nuttin gonna make u look that good.
