Remember when we mentioned our nominations for the Trendy Awards? It turns out that we won the award for “Trendiest Hook-up Site”! We took a picture just so we could prove it to you. Also, we may have wanted to brag about it a little…
Congratulations to us! What should we do with ourselves now that we’ve won? And can someone please explain why Manhunt Daily didn’t win any awards? We know there wasn’t a “Trendiest Blog” category, but we should have at least gotten a nomination for “Best Cock”!

Good guess how manhunt won, sure is not for lower price, customer service or great layout. Perhaps there were people voting multiple times while working or something like that.
As for blog winning, see no reason it should have won anything. It is a blog and nothing over special between the endorsements without disclosure despite repeated requests by members to disclose such, just alot of patoronizing at times. Along with not many of the readers suggestions or comments appreciated or used to enchance site. And now the blog is like a huge advertisment billboard. Hell even Manhunt has far too many ads considering you are paying to read them.

Manhunt SUCKS — especially their customer service. This blog is ok though.
Depending on where you are there are different levels of quality–down here in the NYC burbs it’s better for me to use a site where I can search by distance. I don’t mind paying for MH because it’s a decent enough product, but the trendiness probably comes from all the ads. Congrats, though!
A4A is amazingly crappy here in Milwaukee. Most of the guys are skeevy twinks who can’t afford a paid account anywhere. I much prefer Manhunt.

Manhunt could probably also win for “Slowest Site on the web”. With all the junk displayed on the pages, load time sucks…and it just seems to get worse.

I also find Manhunt to be the slowest site out there on the web – not just the gay hook-up sites, but any sites! The time it takes for new windows to open is kinda ridiculous. I have no problem using gaydar, facebook, yahoo, or smaller, lesser known gay hook up sites, so it seems to be an issue with the Manhunt site or servers. It’s really frustrating than Manhunt is so slow. But none of the gay hook-up sites have really got it right yet, tech-wise. When one does, I will be happy to pay more $$$ to whoever does it!
