I had all ready viewed the pics that were posted earlier and went through all of them. You know the guys were all having a great time. not everyone is a pin up type guy, but I bet they have a personality that would make up for it. The only damned problem was that I wasn’t atg those parties. I would have been one of the men that had better have a personality since I am not a model. I have never been thrown out of bed but I am just a normal man proud of who I am. And again Dewitt I am siding with you. This is becoming a habit. Ron
WHAT THE FUCK are you on about?
Well, maybe if you had pics from one of these manhunt parties showing normal guys – you know, most of the manhunt members who look like us: middle aged, not sculpted and, in many cases, “manscaped” – attending, we just might make nice comments. We don’t like the fact that many of us pay membership fees to manhunt and are then considered by manhunt not to be manly enough.
Manhunt just might get more members, especially paying ones, if the majority weren’t instantly discarded as not attractive enough for all these manhunt events, parties and other some-such stuff. If we felt we were welcomed to be “representative” of manhunt, we’d have more of a reason to join – and fork over money. It’s called marketing, something manhunt obviously knows nothing about. Here’s a tale for you. Carnival Cruise Lines is the largest cruise business in the world. It outdid all it’s competitors, including centuries old passenger lines like Cunard and Holland-American, because of marketing (as a matter of fact, it gobbled up those older businesses). Why? Because unlike those other cruise and passenger lines, it catered to the everyday man and woman. It decided in its advertisements to show only REAL passengers rather than using those perfect models. It should Mr. and Ms. Middle Class America having fun on their “fun ships.” And that included people with middle-body spread. They were all of normal age and normal looks. The ads said: “ya’ll come.” The other lines continued to use models of youthful, sculpted, well-to-do appearing people. These lines, in their faux-pa’s, were saying “if you don’t look like this, we don’t want you on our ships.” So the normal clients took that message and took their business to Carnival. They wanted to feel welcomed and wanted. Carnival filled the staterooms of its ships while the other, older, established lines ended up with empty ships.
Now, why would I want to go to some manhunt “party” when it’s obvious, from the pics you post, that only the flat-stomached, non-gray-haired are not present? Why should I, or the vast majority of manhunt members, who are well over 30 (probably well over – gasp! – 40, maybe even over – is it possible? – 50) want to go to manhunt-sponsored events when it’s clear from the pics you post that they are not welcomed? If they are, then why are there no pics of them? Where are the pics of some 58-year-old, with a gut, and more hair in his ears than on his head?
Quit your whining about people not making “nice” posts, Dewitt. You work for manhunt. You know it doesn’t use pics of normal guys to promote itself to normal guys. Why do you defend marketing stratagies that are designed to make the normal, gay man feel that he’s out of the league of manhunt? Take some responsibility for what you post here. If you want your paycheck from those of us who fork over the money on manhunt, then start catering to us. Or else, we can take our business elsewhere and you can go find another job.
Yes, let’s all go to those manhunt parties, where the majority of us normal guys would be treated like lepers. Maybe manhunt doesn’t allow us normals in anyway.
