The organization we are highlighting this week is the Alianza Latina, a community based group operating in New York state. In their own words:
"Alianza Latina is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit community based organization
committed to addressing the epidemic of HIV/AIDS and other diseases that
challenge the health and welfare of urban communities in Buffalo and Erie County
by assuring the availability of comprehensive care services including prevention
education and treatment."
Their educational and outreach programs at the community level are exactly the kind of work that will help reach those who may otherwise miss the all-important message of safe sex and prevention. Has anybody had any experiences with this organization?
