Manhunt Back In Times Square: Ryan Seacrest Psyched For NYE Now

photo

Ryan Seacrest is probably already tired of having to host the ball dropping on New Year’s Eve every year. He probs wishes he could just stay in LA and watch an entirely different sort of balls dropping. But we did him a solid with our new Times Square billboards going up. Now he’ll have something to look at and enjoy on the big night, and a reminder to log on to Manhunt after the show to find him some New Year’s lovin’.

Check out pics of our new billboards in Times Square. Our billboards from last year had a pretty good response, even from the heterosexual contingent. As opposed to when we advertised in LA, and mommy bloggers hated on us. What do you think? Do our ads belong alongside everybody else’s? Or are they too hot for Times Square’s Disneyland-like atmosphere?

  1. “Christmas is SERVICE.”

    “Christmas is WORSHIP.”

    The juxtaposition, the juxtaposition! It’s so beautiful and perfect.

  2. Times Square bacame sanitized and boring after Guiliani, so I say, bring back the porn theatres, sex workers and the ManHunt billboards. Lighten up, NYC and have fun again! Montreal is a sexier city than you are now.

  3. Dewitt, you literally took the words out of my mouth. I love the juxtaposition between mamma mia and christmas is worship. Yes.

  5. I’m not a fan of these types of ads, honestly. I’m so not ‘middle America mom” but sexual ads like that for kids are unneeded and since the media has been great for making us “normal”, this is counterproductive and just pushes the stereotype. Is that really what you want tens of millions of people thinking on NYE. Aside from that, since when do we need a big billboard to find a good hook up site?

  7. Nobody would bat an eye if these were ads for underwear–or a gym chain–featuring shirtless men. And neither should it matter that one of them shows two men being physically affectionate.

  9. Hmmm I’m not really a fan… it’s not even the pics that bother me… it’s the actual product. I don’t think parents should have to explain to their children what “manhunt” is. … It’s one thing if it’s a revealing clothing ad, or a gym ad… but why does a sex service have to be plastered all over one of the biggest tourist attractions in the country? I would say the same if it was a straight hookup site billboard.

  10. Nothing about this billboard actively advertises promiscuity. Manhunt, as a site, is what you make of it. You can use it as a dating service, or you can use it to suck seven dicks in one night… That choice is up to you, and once again I state: NOTHING about this billboard actively advertises or promotes promiscuity.

    ::sigh::
